The KU program provides the children with a range of different activities and experiences to support their learning. From gardening to arts and crafts, music, movement and literacy, numeracy and scientific concepts, the program helps to build the children’s confidence as capable and active learners.

KU Liverpool Preschool also runs a specialised environmental sustainability program. The children learn about caring for the environment through the centre vegetable gardens and the educators run cooking and tasting experiences using the fruit the children grow. The program teaches the importance and value of sustainable living. 

The KU curriculum includes a mix of large and small group experiences that help to build the children’s leadership and communication skills. Through interactive and hands-on activities, the children develop a sense of their unique selves and a feeling of belonging.

The curriculum aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework and the preschool program helps to prepare the children for the transition to school. The educators invite participation, research, inquiry and exploration from the children so they can drive their own learning and develop important critical thinking skills.
