Choosing to move our 18mo son to Wool & Thimble was one of the best decisions we have made as parents.

Like many toddlers, he took some time to settle in and drop-offs were often met with tears. What stood out immediately was the genuine care and empathy shown by the educators, particularly the update once he had settled, giving us peace of kind he was supported and comforted.

Fast forward 9 months to today, he genuinely loves going to daycare. He knows all the educators name and asks about them at home.

We’ve seen him thrive socially, emotionally and developmentally. The growth in his confidence, learning and wellbeing has been remarkable. We are especially impressed with the wide range of new activities and thoughtfully prepared play experiences!

We are very grateful to the entire Wool & Thimble team for creating such a warm, caring and engaging environment for our son to flourish - thank you tor everything you do ❤️

The whole team has been so incredible at welcoming our beautiful 12 month old daughter into her first day care experience. They've been patient as she adjusts to new people and activities. I love seeing all the cute pictures and the well thought out activities the kids get to do. The centre is modern and always filled with happy sounds plus there is free coffee and snacks for the parents in the morning. Absolutely fabulous!

Our family has been part of this wonderful childcare community for many years, and we couldn't be happier.
What truly sets this centre apart is the incredible team. The educators don't just supervise the children; they genuinely care about them like their own. They work tirelessly every single day to create a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
Seeing how hard they work to support each child's growth is truly inspiring. Our kids have been incredibly happy here for years, and we are so grateful for all the love and effort the staff pour into their jobs every day. We highly recommend this centre to any family!
Thanks a lot 🙏

We could not love it more at Wool and Thimble! We have been here since day one and will be not going anywhere! The learning environment is well thought out, clean and the resources available to the children are of a high quality. The educators are so warm and you can genuinely feel the love that they have for the children in their care. It truely feels like a family ❤️ My daughter has absolutely thrived in their care and could not be happier!

The most amazing staff and an incredible daycare. The staff are so caring and create a safe, fun environment full of learning. My son is thriving in Wool and Thimble! He is making friends, learning new things, eating yummy food and the parents are cared for to. Could not recommend anywhere better.

I couldn’t be happier with our decision to enrol our son here. After only one week, it has already surpassed all my expectations. The educators and staff are genuinely kind and caring — you can feel the love and dedication they put into every child. My son comes home happy and excited about his day, and the daily updates we receive are so thoughtful and reassuring. The activities are engaging, the environment is nurturing, and the food is excellent (the delicious pastries they share with parents at drop-off are a lovely touch and speak volumes about the quality!). This is truly outstanding care from a wonderful team. We feel incredibly fortunate and highly recommend Wool and Thimble Waterford to every parent looking for a warm, high-quality early learning centre. Thank you to the entire team for making our first week so positive and reassuring. We’re looking forward to many happy days ahead!

We’ve been taking our one year old here since they opened and we couldn’t be happier. Staff are wonderful; caring and attentive with great communication and attention to detail. Couldn’t recommend more highly.

No other daycare compares with Wool and Thimble. The staffs are so nurturing, welcoming and engaging with the kids. The management is well organised and provide a safe, friendly environment for our kids to thrive and learn. I’m very happy with their service.

We love the warm, family orientated feel of Wool and Thimble. From the personal touches down to the small little details, the educators and management make a huge effort to get to know each and every child. Highly recommend if you’re looking for the structure and transparency of a daycare set up but the individual and personalised care of a family daycare.

One of our kids went to Wool and Thimble before starting school, and our younger one is still attending. We have been really happy with the care and support both of them have received. The staff were welcoming from the very beginning, and each child settled in quickly and grew more confident over time. The educators put a lot of thought into their activities and routines, and they always take the time to let us know how the day went. The environment is calm, organised and very child focused. The meals are healthy, and communication with families is always clear. It has been a great place for our kids to learn and feel comfortable. We are very happy to recommend Wool and Thimble.
