Kim was excellent. Our youngest started with her at 12 months old and she was fantastic at transitioning him into care. We love the connection you have in a family day care setting and highly recommend Kim. We found her to be organised, energetic, caring and she creates a wonderful environment for the children. Nothing was ever too much trouble. She was wonderful with our son and he loved her ! A fantastic educator !

Both our children have had the wonderful experience of day care with Kim. Our second child started at 8 months and indeed from the day she was born, Kim was already taking the time to get to know her when we'd drop off our son, which in turn helped him with the new arrival by talking about her, bringing in photos etc. Kim is a warm and caring person who is genuinely interested in the development of our children and providing them with love, fun, learning and friendship. Our children have developed their language, counting, singing, dancing and interaction with others in Kim's care. Kim takes the children to playgroup to interact with other carers and children and to participate in different activities in an expanded but familiar environment. They have thoroughly enjoyed their time with Kim at East Lindfield Family Day Care.

We felt extremely lucky to have found Kim to look after our daughter for over a year and a half. FDC was the perfect environment for our daughter and she benefitted from the small personalised care alongside attending the wider councils playgroup each week . The best of both worlds! Kim is always friendly and follows any of your wishes well. Our daughter loved her time here. Would definitely recommend.

Kim provides a lovely, calm and caring environment for the children and her approach to daycare and learning is immediately reassuring. She is very patient with both children and parents. Starting daycare at 15 months, Kim has supported our daughter's learning and development significantly. Providing personalised care and guidance through a wide range of learning activities and through play. Kim is professional in all situations, is attentive to any concerns and proactive in communicating relevant information to us when necessary. Kim takes the time to give us a verbal report on our daughter's progress and behaviour at the end of each day and during the day at our request which goes a long way to making us feel happy and comfortable. We receive bi-monthly newsletters that include updates, photos and a description of the learning outcomes being addressed, and examples of art and craft are sent home with our daughter. It is always nice for us as parents to see what our daughter has learned at Kim's, whether it be drawing, dance, new words or new Yoga moves! Our daughter is at Kim's from very early in the morning until late in the afternoon/evening, and Kim always has a happy disposition and greets us with a smile - that makes her a very special educator!

Highly recommend East Lindfield FDC - such a warm, friendly and educational environment. My daughter has loved attending for over a year.
