My son started here when it was still little owls, when kids cave took over it was a breath of fresh air. Within two days of Kids Cave taking over, the centre manager told me that she had ordered noise cancelling headphones for my son as the noise gets very overwhelming. My son has additional needs due to ASD and a global delay, the staff have been wonderful for him especially Theresa, who was there when it was still “ little owls.” The centre calls me if he’s having a hard day, and takes the time to listen and care to my child. They have also been a good source of community after having my second child, one of the girls is always arms out waiting for a cuddle while i help my oldest get his things. I would rate 5 stars, but rate 4 after watching the mass influx of children in the last 6 months. In my opinion, there is not enough space at the centre to have as many children as they do. Especially with a lot of the children having additional needs and difficult behaviours the space is to small to facilitate them all. In my opinion, this is leading to massive staff burn out. I will sometimes intentionally keep my child home to give him a break as he often comes home and tells me about kids who have hit him that day. Also, the turnover of staff is a concern. With one of the most wonderful educators I’ve met recently being stood down it’s left the staff even shorter at keeping up with the kids with additional needs. Good educators are hard to come by and it’s unfortunate to have them be let go when they are so good with the children and just want them to grow into kind people. For the most part, I love kids cave and so does my child, but i definitely do feel like the centre should have been capped at 15 children a day due to it being such a small centre.

Absolutely love this service. They are kind and caring, being small it’s great for my son, he loves all the kids and staff here. Amazing work by the new takeover from the old service, people who care and do 110% everyday. Keep being brilliant ❤️

(Old Review Revised) I had a negative experience with previous owner of “little owls” before being taken over by kids cave. Today i was able to see the massive improvements and changes to this centre now it is under different management. Even kids that were there when my son was attending seem happier! I’m really glad it’s been turned around and our kids futures look brighter with the education they deserve.

My daughter has additional needs and they have went above and beyond for her. We are now at a point she is happy to go to daycare, we never would have reached this point with their tremendous support.

Absolutely love the centre my children have attended this centre since 2017 bad never had an issue. Staff are wonderful and absolutely loved by the children.

My child attends four days a week and she loves going. The staff are friendly and helpful and the centre has a warm and welcoming decor. The rooms have recently been redecorated and my daughter loves the new activities and set up.
