Highly recommend this centre for your little one. My daughter has been here since she was 6 months old, and over the past five years we’ve seen some changes, though the consistency and leadership Huan has brought since changing to Golden Wattle have been truly outstanding. The love, care, and support my daughter has received have played such an important role in shaping her into the fun-loving, confident little person she is today. Last year, we split her time between pre-school and Golden Wattle to prepare for kindy, and I genuinely believe Golden Wattle gave her the stronger foundation for starting school. A wonderful centre with a beautiful, dedicated team.

My son has attended Golden Wattle since they took over management and boy did Huan delivered more than we expected. She would greet the kids personally, made changes to be up to code ( which we weren’t aware of), alot of excursions and sensory experiences for the kids from baking to trips to the coffee shop and library and even organised the fire brigade to come in. She made sure the centre was cleaned ( we found our son getting sick less) and took any suggestions or concerns we had. We developed such a close relationship with the educators, kids and Huan we still stay in touch after we left. We noticed our son thrived tremendously and was rarely upset. He formed closed bonds with alot of his friends and educators. We were sad to leave. We hope this centre keeps on thriving.

Our daughter has been at this centre for four years, including from the very beginning of Golden Wattle’s takeover, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better early learning journey. Miss Huan, the Director, leads the centre with warmth, integrity, and genuine care. She and all the educators are incredibly kind, patient, and passionate about the children. From day one, it has felt like a place built on human relationships and trust, not just run as a business. Under Miss Huan’s leadership, the team consistently goes above and beyond in preparing children for their transition into kindergarten — emotionally, socially, and academically. One standout example was how the centre actively worked with Ultimo Public School, organising a Q&A night at the centre with school representatives for both parents and children. This thoughtful initiative made the transition to kindergarten feel calm, informed, and truly supported. Fees and attendance charging have always been fair and transparent, which further reflects the integrity of how the centre is managed. Over the years, we’ve watched our child grow in confidence, independence, and pride — something every parent hopes for. Our daughter is incredibly proud to graduate from Golden Wattle, and as parents, we are just as proud to support a local childcare centre run with care, kindness, and strong values. We will always be grateful for the foundation they’ve given our child.

From the very first day, this childcare centre has felt like an extension of our family. The educators know our child so well and genuinely care about them as an individual, not just another enrolment. Seeing how excited our child is to go each morning says everything. The environment is nurturing, fun, and full of learning, and the communication gives us real peace of mind. Though we have moved out of the area and onto pastures new, we wouldn't hesitate to use Golden Wattles services again given the opportunity.

My son has been attending Golden Wattle since it opened and absolutely loves it. In addition to the great education programs they offer, they also offer extra fantastic opportunities for kids including languages, sports, gardening (understanding where food comes from), cooking, yoga and swimming lessons. Also the teachers are wonderful, caring and kind, and always provide regular feedback about how the kids are going educationally and socially. Each day we also receive a summary of all the activities they did throughout the day and photos too. I would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for a new place for their child.
