"I cannot speak highly enough of Madonna and the wonderful team at My Kids Early Learning. The care they showed our child, and the kindness extended to my husband and me during a particularly challenging time in our family’s life meant more than I can adequately put into words. While we were navigating difficult work and family circumstances, the team were consistently approachable, supportive and reassuring. Above all, they were so caring towards our child. Knowing our child was with people who took the time to understand them and respond with patience and warmth gave us enormous comfort. At just two years old, our child was navigating big feelings and some of the behavioural challenges that can come with being so little. The educators met these moments with compassion, professionalism and a clear depth of experience. They recognised a little person who needed understanding and guidance and worked alongside us to support. As a first-time mum, I had moments of self-doubt and uncertainty. Being able to ask questions, share concerns and receive thoughtful reassurance without ever feeling judged was invaluable. Their support helped me feel more confident as a parent, and I will always be grateful for that. Madonna’s leadership and the care shown by the whole team deserve recognition. They made our family feel welcomed, understood and supported when we really needed it. We miss the centre dearly and wish Madonna and every member of the team all the very best. Thank you for caring for our child with such kindness, and for looking after our family along the way. We would wholeheartedly recommend My Kids Early Learning to other families. Opened in 2024, our modern, purpose-built centre was designed to give Mackay families a warm, high-quality early learning experience in a fresh, welcoming environment.
Our experienced, qualified educators provide high-quality care and education for children from six weeks to school age, in a nurturing setting that encourages curiosity, independence and confidence. We’re proud to have an established team, and many of our educators are parents themselves — so we understand the trust you place in us and the importance of consistent care, strong relationships, and clear communication with families. Our learning program is play-based and intentional, supporting children through language development, early literacy and numeracy foundations, creative arts, sensory exploration, and social-emotional learning that helps children build confidence, resilience and friendships.
Our outdoor playscapes and learning environments are always evolving, with ongoing landscaping and playscape improvements to keep children engaged, active and inspired as they explore. We also make drop-offs and pick-ups simple for busy families, with safe, easy access parking plus convenient street parking directly out front. And we love welcoming families with the occasional treat like healthy muffins and fruit at drop off time.
We’re privately owned, backed by 25+ years experience in early learning across Australia, and we’re proudly community-focused. We offer a Queensland Government Approved and Funded Kindergarten Program, with three days provided by the government for eligible children in the year before they start school.

We have a Chef to prepare all of our nutritious meals daily. We provide Breakfast, Morning tea and Afternoon tea. Our Chef intentionally designs a Seasonal "four-week" rotating menu to cater to each children's dietary needs under The Australian Dietary Guidelines. We support local family businesses to provide us with fresh local produce of a high-quality. Eating habits are learned from a young age, so by providing and promoting nutritious foods and drinks, we can help children establish positive eating behaviours early.

Our Team is made up of dedicated, passionate, qualified Educators who genuinely care about the children and families that attend our service. Many of our Educators are parents too, so we understand how imporatant it is to feel confident and comfortable when you drop your child off each day. We are here to advocate for our Parents and Families by building strong trusting relationships and connections each day.
We take time and each day, to use each precious moment to get to know each and every child, their indivial intrests, their special personality and what helps them feel safe and settled. We work closely as team to constantly create a calm, friendly environment where children can learn, play and grow.
Our days through ought the rooms include rhythms based on the children’s needs, instilling consistency, while providing a curriculum to support development of language, early literacy, numeracy, art and sensory exploration, music and natural outdoor exploration. We follow and extend on each child's voice and support them to try any new learning journey at their own pace, where children can learn, play and grow.
We have spent a lot of time supporting and growing a strong relationship with all our families and they often tell us they love our warm welcoming environment we provide for their child. They appreciate the way our Educators take the time to build meaningful bonds with their child. They have trust in our clear communication and caring consistent approach from our Team.

We absolutely love this daycare centre! The staff are genuinely caring, warm, and welcoming, and the centre has a small, friendly, family-like atmosphere. They always go the extra mile to make sure the children feel loved, safe, and supported. Both of my kids love coming here, which gives me so much peace of mind as a parent.

Enrolled FamilyWe will always be grateful to Madonna and the beautiful team at My Kids Early Learning for the care they gave our son, Klese, and the kindness they showed our whole family. During a particularly challenging time with work and family circumstances, the team were approachable, supportive and reassuring. Knowing our little boy was being cared for with such warmth and patience brought my husband and me enormous comfort. As a first-time mum, navigating the big feelings and challenges that come with being two sometimes left me questioning myself. The team listened, offered thoughtful guidance and reassured me without ever making me feel judged. Their experience and understanding of young children shone through in the way they supported Klese and worked alongside us as his parents. What meant the most was feeling that Klese was understood, valued and cared for as his own little person. We could talk openly with the educators, ask questions and trust that we would be met with compassion and professionalism. Madonna and the whole team deserve so much recognition for the welcoming, nurturing community they create. Their support made a lasting difference to our family, and we miss the centre dearly. My daughter absolutely loved her time at the centre. She made such lovely bonds with the teachers and the other kids, and it was so nice to see how happy she was there. The staff are amazing and genuinely care so much about the children. I couldn’t recommend this centre enough!
