We enrolled our son at Little Moppets Early Education & Care Centre for approximately two months in 2025. Unfortunately, we ultimately withdrew him due to ongoing concerns about supervision, care routines and incident management. To be fair, not everything was negative. Most of the educators in our son’s room were lovely and appeared engaged with the children. We also appreciated the regular and detailed daily updates provided through the centre’s app. The playground offers good opportunities for play and exploration. However, during his time there, our son regularly came home with scratches to his face. When we raised this, we were told educators had not observed anything and CCTV had not captured any incidents. We were also advised that because he did not cry and no blood was drawn, it was not considered significant. This raised concerns for us about how incidents were identified and reported. We also questioned basic care routines. On several occasions, when our son was dropped off before 8am, we observed that he was not offered breakfast, while other children who arrived later were. When this was raised with the owner, there was little interest in addressing the concern. While the playground is engaging, we also felt some elements, such as large rocks, posed potential safety risks for toddlers. We raised these matters directly with the male owner on multiple occasions. Unfortunately, these discussions felt defensive and unconstructive, and we did not feel our concerns were properly acknowledged. It has now been six months since we moved our son to another service, where he is very settled. Minor incidents do occur, but they are communicated and documented appropriately, which has been reassuring. We hope things have improved at Little Moppets since our time there and wish the centre well for the future. Our intention is to share an honest account of our experience so other families can make informed decisions.

I am very grateful to have found little moppets childcare centre. My child has grown so much since joining and loves going in to the childcare centre.. Sometimes doesn’t even want to come home😂 As a parent, I truly appreciate the care and cultural understanding.

I am so happy that I found Little Moppets Early Education and Care. They are more than just a childcare facility... they are like family. Upon registering my daughter, I was nervous to leave her in the hands of someone I did not know. But after her first day there, I felt more at ease. And now, I'm totally amazed of how much my daughter has developed and blossomed by being in their care. At the start of each day she is excited about going to be with her teachers and friends. And at the end of each day, she loves to share the new things she has learned, explored and experienced. All the staff there are caring, patient and loving. I am happy that my daughter is receiving high quality care, education, nutrition and love.

We used to live a 2 minutes drive from Little Moppets and the lovely staff and clean centre were what drew us over. Unfortunately we’ve had to move a 15 minute drive away from the centre. We currently have a centre 5 minutes walk for us, but the staff at Little Moppets look after our little boy so well that we would rather detour 15 minutes every morning. Thank you to all the staff at Little Moppets!

The staff are super friendly and have lovely interactions with the children which definitely shows how much they care about every child. The love and care they give to each child is amazing. The staff always have smiles on their faces and it's clear they love what they do.They have been a huge support to my family and we can't thank them enough. The centre is lovely and clean and always looks super engaging and inviting for the children.

Started of strong with their previous manager and then went down hill very quickly. They decided to “test” my deaf child by covering their mouth and turning their backs on him and then call me to tell me their findings from their test. I received a call as they were reported for it and they completely fabricated the incident to cover themselves. Fortunately there is a mountain of evidence to support. My child was pulled out immediately after the incident. They breached so many of his human rights and I am devastated that my son was put into their care and then treated the way he was.

Amazing day care. Our little boy Arlo loved attending here. Every morning he was so excited to play and learn. The staff are excellent and keep you updated throughout the day. He’s going to really miss you all so much. Thanks for everything. Highly recommend this center

We are very pleased with how our son has adapted to this centre over the past 5 months. He has really come out of his shell at little moppets and we thank the staff and owners for going above and beyond to help them feel comfortable and able to express themselves as children. Our son now loves going to daycare and often asks about going to little moppets to see his friends and staff members he has built relationships with. We highly recommend little moppets to anyone that may be looking for a new centre for their children. Stop looking because this place is it! Thankyou Ken and Merissa🙏🏼

All the staff are nurturing towards the children, you feel so welcomed the moment you walk in. Great outdoor set up, gives the children a chance explore their environment, indoor have a lot of resources too. The centre is accommodating and adapts to all children and families that enter. Staff provides great communication, gives you detailed information on your child’s day. I highly recommend this centre, very passionate about developing into strong individuals

We are impressed with the level of care and facilities that Ken and Marrisa have put together. The staff are great and attentive, always ensuring that the children are happy, and engaged. They go above and beyond to create a warm environment where children love. The variety of activities offered is outstanding, from arts and crafts to interactive play. Communication with parents is excellent. We receive regular updates on our child’s progress and daily activities, which keeps us well-informed and reassured. The center is also very clean and well-maintained.
