Claire leads an exceptional team, fostering an environment where kids don't just attend; they truly thrive. Her leadership creates a beautiful ripple effect of positivity throughout the campus. Rhiannon is also a remarkable standout. She is always supportive, endlessly patient, and an integral part of why daily operations feel so seamless and welcoming. However, the biggest spotlight honestly must shine on Taylene (‘Tay Tay’). Seeing her step into her newly promoted role as Assistant Director is beyond exciting, and undeniably well deserved! Her strong partnerships with families and warm relationships with the kids are exactly why she is so universally loved. Truthfully, Taylene has been an absolute anchor for us, and I really cannot give her enough credit. From being there for all of my son's earliest to most recent milestones, she has continually celebrated the simple joys and managed to stay calm while teaching through all the inevitable chaos and noise. She possesses a mountain of patience, expertly directing toddlers and their big energy in the kindest of ways. Thankfully, as fiercely independent as our boy has grown, Tay Tay hasn't just looked after him, she has built a solid bond with our son, whilst also completely being available to support me as a mum as well - which is something I will always be profoundly grateful for. So if you are seeking a supportive space where the professionals genuinely pour their hearts into what they do every single day, look no further. We are immensely fortunate to belong to this wonderful OAC community, and I cannot stress enough just how lucky you will feel too!

The team is so kind, friendly, and easy to talk to. You can really tell they genuinely care about the kids, not just their learning, but also their health, happiness, and overall wellbeing. It feels like a place you can truly trust. The educators are professional but also warm and approachable, which makes a big difference. So grateful to have found this centre.

We can’t speak highly enough of the centre and the improvements they have made in the past 8 months. One of the things we have always been happy with is the educators. They have all gone out of their way to connect with our daughter but I cannot thank her regular educators enough for everything they have done for our daughter. Kakali, Rani and (baby whisper) Homeria are patient, kind and have helped our little one develop so much. They understand our daughter’s individual needs and have taught her so much. All the educators have worked so hard on building trust with her. We love chef Laurent who always says hello and is happy to share a much loved recipe. We’ve been impressed with the new director Claire and assistant director Rhiannon who are always happy to listen to any concerns or answer any questions we have and have been transparent and supportive.

This daycare has made some big changes within the time that my son has been attending here, and I truly believe that they listen to the children as well as the parents and take on board any issues or concerns that people may have and act fast to rectify and resolve them i.e. a problem with a director of the campus, lack of cleaning or the policies on sick children attending daycare etc. Every single person that works here is passionate, friendly, caring and kind. They all do such a hard job and always have a smile on their face or time for both the children and their parents. It's absolutely fantastic and I couldn't recommend this place more highly even if I tried!!! They keep you in the loop with photos, daily routines, a curriculum or plan for the fortnight. You also get newsletters and things will be stuck on the doors. My son absolutely LOVES going to daycare and all the workers all know him and say hello to both mother and child. Thank you for not only taking care of my son but for making me feel comfortable and knowing he is safe and in good hands, whilst also teaching him new things and helping him learn and grow into an independent and bright young child. This place truly offers little ones the potential to flourish.

We could not be happier with our experience at OAC Newport. The staff are all so lovely and make you feel like your child is so special!

Our twins love it at OAC, Taylene, Lucia and the other staff in the pre kindergarten room are fantastic. They put in so much effort into the rooms to ensure the children are comfortable and happy. Parry & Emily are wonderful, the centre is well run and our children are happy and well taken care of. We’ve been at the centre for 18 months and even though there was a lot of change things have improved greatly. We couldn’t be happier with the new management team, the centre looks great.

Rude staff

Have had absolutely nothing but great experiences from this place. The staff are caring and attentive towards the children creating a nurturing and safe environment. The variety of activities that are offered to the children, and the way that everything is explained on how and why these activities help to promote learning and development is fantastic. The facilities and centre itself is always well-maintained with an exceptional cleanliness. My son is absolutely thriving here and looks forward to coming here. The staff are friendly from the moment you walk in the door. Anyone is more than happy to help me, if I ever need it. Also - my son has NEVER had a single item of his go missing, which I think is just an added bonus I was never expecting. This place has exceeded my expectations and seems to do so more and more each day as my son continues to attend here. Lastly, I feel I need to mention this again - the staff truly do care about the children!! It's incredible and puts you right at ease when sending them off to daycare.
