This is an absolute jackpot. Hands down the best daycare around. We moved from the Sunshine Coast to Brisbane when my little one was 3, and I visited pretty much every daycare on the north side. From the moment we walked into LL Auchenflower, Tijana and the whole team made us feel so welcome. Big shoutout to the amazing management team Liz and Rae, the beautiful teachers Geraldine, Maddie and Velie, and Joe in the kitchen, plus all the other wonderful teachers and staff I may have missed. Every single one of you made our two years there so special. Every term they somehow managed to surprise us with fun events and excursions. There was always something exciting for the kids to look forward to. Thank you for taking such incredible care of B and giving us memories we’ll never forget. Bonus points for the lovely parent friendships we made along the way too! Couldn’t recommend more ❤️

We had two kids who've attended Little Locals Auchenflower. It was an absolutely rewarding experience and decision which we should have done a lot sooner. Our kids spent three years at the centre which we all truly enjoyed. Our children were always excited to come in in the morning and hesitant to go home. Our children were treated well as if they were one of their own. We would like to thank all the lovely carers we have met at the centre through those years, Ms Rae, Ms Geraldine, Ms Maddie, Ms Velli, Ms Ana, Ms Maham, Mr Jett and Jovel, Ms Loz and Tijana. Can't forget the cheerful Joe the chef. The place is perfect if you're looking for a place for your children!!

We have been with this centre for over 2.5 years, and while my son had many beautiful memories early on, the past six months have unfortunately turned that experience into a nightmare. The educators themselves are supportive and genuinely listen, but serious safety issues have been ignored at a management level. During this period, my son has repeatedly been placed with a child who displays violent behaviour. I personally witnessed a frightening incident where this child grabbed another child's head and slammed it into an iron pole. My son has come home multiple times with bite marks, scratches, and even a near-miss injury close to his eye. Despite being informed, the child’s parents have consistently refused to acknowledge these incidents, and the centre has taken no meaningful action to ensure safety for the rest of the children. I’m aware of several other parents who have experienced similar situations, yet there has been no visible effort from the centre to address the recurring behavioural risks or to protect the wider group of children. In addition, over the past 2.5 years, I have quietly observed the owner pushing out two wonderful Centre Coordinators—both of whom genuinely cared for the children and staff. This raised early concerns about the management culture, and the recent safety issues have made it impossible for us to continue. We have ultimately made the extremely difficult decision to withdraw our child to ensure his safety and wellbeing. I am sharing this review so other parents are fully aware of our experience and can make an informed decision.

We’ve had an extremely positive experience at Little Locals Auchenflower. From day one, the management team and all of the educators have been warm, professional, and genuinely caring. It’s hard to single out individuals because everyone does such a great job, but we would especially like to thank Jet and Jovell — they are absolutely fantastic with the kids and are just great humans all round. A special mention as well to Sonam and Amalia, who are also awesome and consistently go above and beyond. We feel very confident and grateful to have our child in such a supportive, nurturing, and well-run environment. Highly recommend Little Locals Auchenflower to any family looking for exceptional care.

With all the turmoil surrounding the childcare centers, I will leave my honest review. My daughter attended in 2024, but I pulled her out because they left the room unsupervised for at least 15 minutes with five kids inside. I was waiting for the educators to come, but no one came. Yes, it was a full 'Karen' move, but I needed to be sure of what was going on. They said one parent left the door open in the morning when dropping off their kid, but still, there were three educators outside chatting, and none checked for the missing kids? I was amazed, which is why I went personally to the educators and told them what was going on, and I complained immediately at the reception. They checked the cameras and apologized, but I couldn't leave her there anymore. Additionally, I also saw educators working in the kitchen a couple of times. I noticed poor hygiene when changing nappies, as they were not putting paper or any linen on the changing table between kids or spraying the changing tables between uses. She was coming home with bites, and on a couple of occasions, no one did an incident report or noticed that this happened to my daughter (imagine that!). She was also coming home with nappy rash, which is extremely concerning. I really hope this helps any parent seeking information for their children.

Little Locals in Brisbane deserves the highest rating possible. When my family and I relocated from Perth, we were apprehensive about how our little boy would adapt to the new environment. However, Little Locals went above and beyond to ensure a smooth transition for him. From the moment we walked through their doors, we were greeted by their incredibly friendly and always smiling staff. Their commitment to exceptional customer service was evident in every interaction we had with them. What impressed us the most was how easily accessible their customer service was. Whenever we had a question or concern, they were just a phone call away, ready to assist us promptly and efficiently. Their dedication to ensuring our satisfaction was truly remarkable. Overall, I cannot express how satisfied I am with the service provided by Little Locals. They not only helped my little boy feel at home in Brisbane but also made the entire relocation process much smoother for our family. Their staff's unwavering positivity and their commitment to excellent customer service truly set them apart. Little Locals is undoubtedly deserving of the highest rating for their outstanding service.

Absolutely awful experience. Some educators are lovely but on the whole the centre really lets down the educators, parents and mostly the children. In late 2023 We had a long, ongoing experience of being bitten almost daily, severe nappy rash, sun burn, being left alone in the room, staff being bullied - hopefully it’s improved since then. But as this was our first daycare experience I regret leaving my child there so long, especially when comparing to our new centre and seeing how good it can be

Our family could not rate little locals Auchenflower more highly! Our little guy came from a family daycare to this centre and we could not be happier to have made the move. Everyone there, from management, the educators and the chefs, are just the most wonderful, caring and accomdating crew we could ask for! They have truly gone above and BEYOND to cater for my son and my needs as a nervous first time mum. The centre is so beautiful and provides such a wonderful atmosphere and environment for our little guy to live his best life. I feel so comfortable leaving him in the capable hands of all the staff there and love that he has each meal made fresh for him by the chefs onsite. Truly a wonderful centre
