Both my children attended this centre and the staff here were all absolutely wonderful. Very organised, highly attentive, sensitive and caring to the children and switched on. We formed strong relations with many of the staff there, but in particular MJ and Nahid, were leading the centre with high standards. We relocated to another area in Sydney and sadly had to change centres. We miss the Chatswood Railway St centre and everyone who works there very much. Read more

Both of my child has been coming here at OAC chatswod . It's been over 7 years since from my first child attended care... Both of my child has been coming here at OAC chatswod . It's been over 7 years since from my first child attended care here. Now it's almost coming to end of my second child day care and moving on to schooling next year . So far the long journey has been great , always provide many details and lots of attention to kids development. Great location and with sunny out door play area . If there is anything to add, wish there is more small excursions, so kids can go for a little walk with there buddy's. Recommended if you are within the area ~ 👍 Read more

Cannot recommend this day care to anyone unengaged and unsupportive management really drag down what should be a good day care (very well located, decent educators). Take a tour and trust your gut if you are considering sending your child here, there are so many better options in the area. The management are defensive and take no responsibility or initiative to address concerns with them (high turnover, lack of consistency/feedback on their "development plans"). Even worse than the management is when you try to raise concerns with OAC directly. Multiple phone calls and promised escalations with the call centre staff led absolutely nowhere. When we finally got a callback from a supervisor they and outright said it was some other managers responsibility. From my experience i do not believe that if you had a concern OAC will address it and for that fact alone i cannot recommend anyone send their children here. Read more

We recently raised several concerns with management about ongoing issues at the centre, including high staff turnover, lack of consistency for children, potential breaches in staff to child ratios and communication that we found unprofessional at times. I was particularly troubled by reducing our baby's naps from 2 to 1 in the beginning against her developmental needs which appeared to be driven by staffing convenience rather than the best interest of the child. We received a follow up call from the Head Office which unfortunately felt more like a procedural formality than a sincere attempt to understand or resolve the concerns. Overall, we remain very concerned about the center's culture, leadership and how parent feedback is handled. We’ve had serious concerns about the standard of care at this centre. Over the past 2–3 months, there has been high educator turnover, leading to instability and a lack of continuity for the children. Many caring staff have left, which appears to reflect deeper management issues. We’ve observed rough handling during drop-off, dismissive communication with parents, and staff being spoken to unprofessionally in front of others. Our child still refuses to walk in when certain staff are present, even after more than a year. There have been multiple occasions where children were watching TV at pick-up time, and at times, the room appeared under ratio. We were also alarmed when our 11-month-old’s naps were reduced from two to one—clearly not age-appropriate and likely due to cost-cutting. Our baby has feeding challenges and requires patience, yet we often pick her up tired, cranky, and clearly hungry—suggesting her needs are not being met consistently during the day. These are not isolated incidents, but part of an ongoing pattern that has led us to question the quality of care and leadership at the centre. We would not recommend this service to other families.
