My son Jude has been with Jenny for nearly two years and we have been so happy for her love and care towards our little boy. Daycare was a BIG adjustment for Jude but Jenny showed him patience and kindness and he now runs to the gate ready for his days of playing in the garden with his friends. Highly recommend Jenny! <3

We are so grateful to have had Jenny care for our 2 year old. It has been the most wonderful start to being in care for her. Jenny is warm and friendly, down to earth and knows and loves the kids in her care so well. She is keen to incorporate things from home with the kids and follow their interests, which along with her wealth of knowledge and experience helps all the kids there to thrive. Jen has them in a great routine, our daughter eats and sleeps really well and comes home happy. I love that Jen is always responsive if I text her during the day wanting to check in on my daughter. We are so happy to be part of the lovely community of families that are part of Jen's FDC. Many of the families have had Jenny care for multiple kids over many years which was such a green flag for me as an early childhood educator myself. Any family would be lucky to have Jen care for their child.

Hi I am 59 years old, have 3 grown children, one who lives at home but works in the city all week. I also have 2 grandchildren.
I have been a caring for children under the Council for 23 years, based at the same property in Dee Why.
I really enjoy caring for and interacting with children and over the years I have learnt more than I could ever imagine from them. My backyard has provided many children in the district with an opportunity to express themselves and grow into healthy little individuals. My aim is to build strong self identities. I value each child's individuality and love to guide them with their learning and behavioural issues.
The 'red table' provides the children with an opportunity to relax, be patient, connect, express, practice skills that will be necessary for school. This takes on many different forms eg. listening, waiting, co-operating, communicating, hygiene practice etc. practice every day they are achieveable.
Respect, Responsibility and Resilience are key aims of mine for the children. This modern world is fast, not as well disciplined and tough on children and adults.
My service is open Monday to Thursday 8-5.
My fees are $15 per hour from 1/1/24 for all age groups, plus the Council Levy of $2.05. I provide almost all supplies.
