Honestly the best daycare I’ve ever sent my two girls to. I’ve seen them absolutely thrive since starting here in every way possible. They’ve built such beautiful relationships with the educators and have made some really special friendships with other kids. The educators put a huge amount of effort into everything they do, from the structured routines to thoughtful educational activities and sensory play. You can tell they put in a lot of thought and care into making each day engaging. The centre itself is incredible. They have always been so flexible and accommodating with bookings whenever needed. I love how much thought and care goes into the meals, you can tell they’re making sure the kids get really healthy, balanced food every day. The app is incredible. I love receiving photos and videos throughout the day, plus all the updates on what they eat, when they eat, and their sleep times. It gives so much peace of mind and helps you feel connected even when you’re not there. Couldn’t recommend this place more 🤍

This centre is absolutely amazing ! From the second we had a look at this place we knew it would be the right choice for us. The warm friendly feeling from everyone, just put my mind at ease when sending my daughter. The centre is absolutely amazing my little girl was very shy when she first started a few months back and now she can not wait to go see her friends and her educators it's amazing ! Everyone working in the centre is so so lovely! The educators are fantastic which makes it easy to leave my child there with them. My daughter is absolutely thriving and it's all down to the staff in this centre. I can't thank them enough.! :)

Hidden gem of a daycare in Baldivis. The Y wasn’t in my list of daycares to visit/tour a year and a half ago when I was looking for places to enrol my son in. I found them on Google, rang and arranged for a tour and I’m glad I did that. I felt so welcomed the moment we stepped in and my son (who was very shy at that time), felt straight at home. He was playing with the toys in the room while I had a chat with one of the educators; Anya. I was given the brief and I felt very sure and comfortable with her. The space is immaculate; spotless and clean. What I loved most was the outdoor play area and a dedicated dining space. Soon my son began and we became familiar with the educators. They go all out to make sure he doesn’t feel sad. My son loves The Y and absolutely adores all the educators (especially all his previous ones). He is in kindy now but all the educators in the other rooms still acknowledge and gives him hugs. I love that they do more than play in kindy. He told me about a bugs life (the diff stages of life), and even have lunchbox days and make your own lunch. It’s so much fun. And I love reading the updates from the Y. Thank you everyone for providing a safe space for Michael and engaging him in the most fun and educational curriculum. I highly recommend this daycare !

5 Star review from me. We started our son in YMCA after emigrating. He was suffering extreme separation anxiety symptoms. It was the most stressful time seeing him not wanting to go to daycare but it was quickly turned around in a short few weeks. The girls at ymca ELC went above and beyond with making our son feel welcome from trying to figure out what his likes and dislikes were, communicating with us on how his day was. Also planned activities around his likes to make him feel welcome, giving him cuddles and attention when he needed. Miss Michelle has been amazing with him and I’ve noticed a big difference in behaviour, development and skills since attending. He thoroughly enjoys going to his daycare and gets excited to tell us about his day. They do amazing activities with him and I really enjoy seeing the photos uploaded on the app. Our son really does love all of the Educators. They have such an amazing outdoor space where they look at the wildlife through the fence on their outdoor play times. Perfect for our outdoorsy boy. Highly recommend.

We absolutely adore this childcare centre! From the very first day, the team made my daughter feel safe, nurtured, and truly seen. The educators are incredibly warm, attentive, and genuinely care about each child’s development and emotional wellbeing. One of the things that makes this centre so special is its beautiful setting — it’s surrounded by nature, which is so rare to find these days and incredibly important for young children. The outdoor spaces are calming, inspiring, and give the kids plenty of opportunity to explore, play, and connect with nature. Kangaroos visit outside areas every day and plenty of birds around. The environment is clean, creative, and thoughtfully set up to inspire curiosity and joy. Thank you for the love and dedication you pour into every single day!

5 STARS! The YMCA has been extremely accommodating to my booking requirements due to split parenting arrangements. The staff are friendly and very attentive during conversations during pickup and their early learning program is excellent; my daughter has come home happy from enjoying her time playing and sharing the things she learnt.

We started our son at YMCA Baldivis about 9 months ago, he was 2 and a half at the time & had never been in daycare before. The team have been amazing at helping him grow his confidence & social skills. Now he loves telling me about all the fun he had with his friends & the daily learning activities he does with his educators Hannah, Shauna & Shayleen (who are all fantastic!)
