An absolutely incredible culture and environment. My child feels so calm and safe here and the staff care so much. If you are aprehensive about sending your child to a large centre where your child is just a number, then this is the place for you! They care so much about each child as an individual. Highly recommend :)

My little boy is relatively new to Elmwood Early Learning Centre and it’s one of the best choices I’ve ever made. In the span of only 4 months he is flourishing. His developmental skills are improving. He can identify his body parts, colours, all sorts of things. He can even say his own name now. It is a wholesome community at Elmwood and we feel very privileged to be a part of it. Highly recommended.

I could not be happier with Elmwood. Olga, Kristen, Mon and Serena are the most incredible carers: I used to have my kids at a large day care and changed to Elmwood last year. Best thing I ever did. The best start I could have given my child. We began our journey at Being3 with a co-sleeping child, and the level of individualised care still stands out to me. The educators gently weaned her off co-sleeping for naps by lying beside her until she fell asleep, then introducing a weighted blanket. Today, she confidently walks to her bed when she feels sleepy—such a small example, but one that speaks volumes about how thoughtfully they respond to each child’s needs. More recently, Divya struggled with the transition to kinder, and once again, the Being3 team went above and beyond. Sophie, the owner, was personally involved in ensuring Divya’s needs were understood and met. She was incredibly receptive to feedback, proactive, and genuinely invested in supporting Divya through this adjustment phase. That level of leadership and care is rare and made a world of difference for us as parents. A true highlight of the centre is the strong relationships the educators build with the children—they love, hold, and nurture them, creating deep bonds that help children feel safe and secure. Divya has learnt and grown so much over the last 3 years and has blossomed into a confident, happy child. Another big plus is the low staff turnover, which brings so much continuity and emotional safety for the children. We also love the Bush Kinder program, which gives children the opportunity to explore, build resilience, and connect with nature in such a meaningful way—it has been wonderful for Divya’s confidence, curiosity, and independence. Thank you, Sophie, Olga, Sereina, Mon, and the entire Elmwood team for everything you do. We are incredibly grateful.

Both my children have really enjoyed attending Elmwood. The staff are very friendly, caring, and genuinely feel like extended family. They know each child well and treat them with the same care and attention as if they were looking after their own children. For a period of time, we changed childcare due to personal reasons, but it didn’t take long for us to return to Elmwood.

We were incredibly reluctant to send our daughter into childcare when I started back at work, but Olga, Kristen, Mon and the owner Sophie have been nothing short of amazing. At the time of commencing my daughter co-slept, was still breastfeeding, had never been in anyone but her parent’s care, and never been put to sleep by anyone but me. We were made to feel so welcome, with every need accommodated. The team really genuinely care about my daughter’s mental and physical wellbeing, and go above and beyond. She has been thriving and we are so happy with the choice to trust the wonderful team at Elmwood with her care. I drive in the opposite direction, away from my workplace and past about 6 other centres to drop her off here each day. If you are after a small centre with a family feel, and looking for carers who will treat your little one(s) like their own - Elmwood is the place for you.

Our daughter has been at the kinder since she was 1 and is now 5. We have had a wonderful experience with the ladies who have nurtured, supported and allowed Grace to be herself in a positive, fun and educational environment. We rave to family and friends in the area about the level of dedication that the owner and carers go to. We travel past 10+ centres daily to get to Elmwood, a 10/10 rating for sure!

Don’t let the lack of reviews sway you! The same team that ran this centre for the last 8 or so years is still there, just with a different owner! Olga and team are fantastic and so very very caring and attentive to our children. Sure, there’s a bigger and slightly better equipped centre next door but they lack the community and family connection feel that Elmwood provides. I should know. We’ve had one kid go through each centre and Elmwood wins hands down. Sophie and fam who took over ownership are invested and involved in making it a great and close knit community. They even have their own kids enrolled. So, don’t hesitate, go and meet the director, Olga and say hello. Elmwood, if you’re reading this, “Hi!! We love you!”

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We have had a wonderful experience with Elmwood Kindergarten over the past two years. After moving from Singapore, finding this school so close to our home was truly the best thing that happened to us. The teachers are amazing—Olga, Kristen, Mon, Sarina and Ya are caring, supportive, and genuinely dedicated to the children. Our child has grown so much during her time here and is now confidently moving on to foundation, thanks to the strong base Elmwood provided. Since Sophie took over, the school has become even more vibrant, with many new activities and thoughtfully planned events that the children love. We are extremely grateful to the entire team and would highly recommend Elmwood to any family looking for a nurturing and supportive kindergarten.
