Cardiff ELC is truly second to none! From the moment my son started here roughly 6 months ago, I’ve seen him come leaps and bounds with his milestones, and it’s all thanks to the love, nurture, and incredible support from the staff. The centre is always spotless, clean, and tidy, which gives me so much peace of mind. Mel is an amazing centre director who leads with warmth and professionalism, and Kirstie is the most amazing person to have a laugh and banter with – she makes the whole place feel even more welcoming. Bri is one of the kindest and most loving educators I’ve ever met, and the bond she has built with my son is just beautiful. I cannot recommend Cardiff ELC enough – the dedication, care, and family feel they provide is unlike anywhere else. We’re so grateful to be part of this centre

We are so grateful to have found Cardiff ELC! The educators are kind, patient and genuinely care about the children. My daughter has grown so much in confidence, learning, and social skills since starting here. The centre is always clean, welcoming, and filled with fun activities that keep the kids engaged. Communication with families is excellent, we always feel updated and involved in our daughter’s day. It’s such a relief knowing our little one is safe, happy, and supported every day. Added bonus being they supply pretty much everything too! Makes life so much easier for our busy family. Highly recommend!

Cardiff ELC has been absolutely amazing for our family. The educators are caring, supportive, and genuinely invested in the children’s wellbeing and learning. Communication with families is always clear and consistent, and I always feel confident knowing my child is in such a safe, nurturing environment. The centre provides a great balance of education and play, helping kids build confidence, social skills, and independence. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. This doesn’t even deserve one star. My child was so poorly treated the ONE day he was there. I was desperate for another day after my original daycare didn’t have the day I needed when I finally went back to a work after a year. When I dropped him off at 9am, they told me he was not allowed his “riff raff doll” because it’s a choking hazard (apparently) when he sleeps with it at his other day care. Taking his innocence and comfort away starting at a new place with strangers. When I picked him up, they couldn’t tell me anything about his day other than words had just changed his nappy at “3pm” The man than came into the room and informed me he had a “rash” on his bum when I can guarantee when I changed him nappy in the morning when he woke he defiantly didn’t, than informed me that I needed to bring sudo cream next time. When I checked his bag, at this stage my child was still on formula, I would pack two containers and two bottles with water, that were NOT touched. My child was so severely dehydrated when I picked him up he slept from 430pm - 10 past 8 I had to wake him up for dinner. At this stage he was screaming in pain, NOTHING would settle him, i went to chuck him in the shower and my child was screaming because he had two red marks on both sides of his bottom which SKIN HAD COME OFF! he was in pain for weeks and I had to let it heal on its own, as skin was torn I couldn’t put any cream on it. Since being in touch with these people and telling them my concerns, I requested they stopped taking money out of my account & I wanted a refund for the money I paid upfront, and they continued to take out weeks after this because of the two weeks after trying to enrol. They told me the director would get back to me but never did contact me back. They ended up taking me to the debt collectors which I was emailed by them a few weeks later I emailed them after hearing about the collectors when they said they would contact me and never did, they said it was “out of their hands” I have taken them to the department of education, which I am also not happy with the outcome. This is the most unprofessional daycare, they don’t care about their children, they just try to squeeze in more and more kids and can’t manage everything going on. I feel horrible for my child. DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!! I ended up lucky enough telling my daycare that my child was originally at when I started my child at 5 months old about what happened and they were able to get my child in on the day I was desperate for, because they felt horrible about what I told them happened.

We’ve been really happy & continue to appreciate how wonderful the staff are at Cardiff ELC. Our child has attended for a period of 7 months now. We are kept updated of activities and routine throughout the day, which I believe is of high importance to a parent when entrusting a daycare provider with their child. The educators have taken the time to get to know our child and it shows in his confidence and comfort on drop off and pick up. Everyone is consistent and friendly. We couldn’t be happier. Thank you!

My son is 2 and has been at Cardiff ELC for a year now, I have found all of the staff to be so lovely and caring to him. He has made strong connections with the educators and I can tell that he is excited to see them. They do fun activities every day and he has a great time! The centre has also been really good with my son’s extra medical needs and I feel confident that they are on top of his medication schedule. I’m really happy that I found this daycare!

Dirty centre and high staff turnover

Absolutely gross centre. Hand prints all over the windows after a weekend! Visible dirt, everywhere. Food chunks on the floor. Dust and grime. My ex partner will be withdrawing our child today and hope that noone sends their children here
