Our family has been part of Happy Trails for two years, and we couldn’t be happier with the care and love we receive. The staff are always so friendly and welcoming, and it’s lovely walking in and having everyone know both my name and my child’s name. They truly feel like an extension of our family!<br>My child always comes home happy, and I love receiving updates throughout the day. It’s so reassuring to know they are happy, settled and having a wonderful time while I’m at work. We are so grateful to have found such a beautiful centre and couldn’t recommend Happy Trails highly enough!

All of my kids have attended Happy Trails over the past few years, and I really only have good things to say about the centre.<br><br>The admin team is fantastic. Communication is quick, efficient and, most importantly, honest. If you want to know whether there’s likely to be a spot for your child, they’ll give you a realistic idea of where you sit on the waitlist so you can actually make an informed decision. No wishy-washy answers or false promises.<br><br>The educators are amazing. There seems to be really good staff retention, which I think says a lot about the centre. The educators are always happy to have a chat about what your child has been up to, and they genuinely get to know the kids. They are also excellent with giving updates of your kid's routines and they publish at least 2-3 stories per day on their app so you can see activities your kid has been up to.<br><br>They’re also really accommodating when it comes to different parenting choices. Want to use cloth nappies, do baby-led weaning, provide expressed breast milk? No dramas. They know what they’re doing, and if there’s something they’re unsure about, they’re happy to listen to your preferences and take on feedback or guidance.<br><br>And the food deserves a special mention. My kids eat meals there that are just as good, and sometimes even better, than what they get at home.<br><br>Happy Trails also does a great job with incursions and excursions, and the learning activities and lessons are really well planned. I love that the educators come from a range of cultural backgrounds and are able to share and celebrate their cultures with the kids. It gives the children such a great opportunity to learn about different cultures in a really natural way.<br><br>The other thing I really like is the community feel. Happy Trails is a big centre, but somehow it doesn’t feel impersonal. The other parents are friendly, and it’s normal to see staff and parents greeting each other, holding doors open or having a quick chat at drop-off and pick-up. There’s a real sense of community, which is lovely when you’re spending a significant portion of your life doing the daily childcare drop-off/pick-up shuffle.<br><br>Happy Trails has made the whole childcare experience a lot easier for us as a family, and most importantly, our kids are happy there.<br><br>I’d happily recommend Happy Trails to any parent looking for a child care. Five stars from me, and probably five stars from the kids too ;)

We have used this centre for the past 2 years. When I initially enquired about needing a quick turn around for a start date, admin were extremely helpful and accomodating. Communication was excellent and remains excellent. My child is so happy and well looked after here. Always doing such great activities from craft to cooking. The staff have always been incredible and my child loves them. I am incredibly grateful that Happy Trails has been a part of our journey the past two years.

My daughter has attended Happy Trails for the last few years after we relocated to Darwin, and it has truly been the best daycare we have found. The staff are absolutely amazing — caring, patient, and genuinely invested in each child’s wellbeing and development. From day one, my daughter felt safe, supported, and happy, which made the transition so much easier for our family. The educators take the time to build strong relationships with both the children and parents, and communication has always been clear and reassuring. The environment is welcoming, nurturing, and engaging, with thoughtful activities that support learning, confidence, and social skills. I have always felt confident leaving my daughter in their care, knowing she is loved, encouraged, and well looked after. I couldn’t recommend Happy Trails more highly to any family looking for a trustworthy, compassionate, and high-quality daycare. I’m really happy with our first week in happy trails. The centre has a beautiful atmosphere, the educators are welcoming and the care is amazing. Since the enrolment, the process is organised and the communication with parents is great. After 4 years in Darwin and visit many centres I believe I found the best.

Best daycare centre ever!! I love how multicultural the centre is, how much the staff treat our kids like their own, how welcoming each and every staff are when you walk through those doors. And how much my kids love them back. I’m so sad to be leaving such an amazing daycare centre and everyone who made an amazing impact in my girls lives. You won’t be disappointed!

Great place. My 3 year old daughter loves it here. And the food they provide is fantastic, so healthy for the kids.

We loved our time at happy trails before moving interstate. From the beautiful welcoming smiles each morning from Haidee & Chami. All the delicious food, cuddles & bithday celebrations with fruit cakes. Our girls were 8 months and 2 years when they started at the centre. We never had any worries leaving them in the care of all these lovely educators. One thing we loved about happy trails is how multicultural the centre is. Definitely would recommend this childcare centre, it has set the standard high for us.
