I recently came to visit this centre as a parent looking for care, and I left feeling really worried about what I saw. When I walked in, the place didn’t look very clean. I understand with children it can get messy, but it didn’t feel like it was being cleaned or looked after properly during the day. While I was there, I saw children eating food from the floor and staff were nearby but didn’t say anything or stop it. I know these things can happen, but what worried me was that no one spoke to the children or guided them. I also noticed there was not much interaction between staff and the children. The staff were talking to each other, but not really engaging with the kids. Some children were crying and looked upset, and one staff member told a child to “shush” in a way that felt more frustrated than caring. I tried to mention some of my concerns during the tour, but I felt like they were not taken seriously. When I was leaving, I saw the area manager there and it seemed like they were okay with how things were, which surprised me. I asked about cleaning and was told the centre is cleaned once a week and maintained during the day, but from what I saw, it didn’t look like much cleaning was happening. The centre says it is a small family-owned place, but from my experience, it did not feel like the level of care and quality I was expecting. Overall, I left feeling very uncomfortable and worried about the children there, and I would not feel confident sending my child to this centre. I did complete the tour form, and I am happy for management to contact me. I would really like to give more feedback about my experience.

Choosing Simba for our child has been one of the best decisions we have made. The learning style encourages children to explore and express themselves in their own way, and we have seen a beautiful growth in confidence and creativity in our child. We love receiving daily photos and updates from the educators, it gives us peace of mind knowing our child is happy, settled, and enjoying their day. Simba offers many wonderful experiences, including language, sports, and music. The Centre director is very friendly and approachable, which makes such a difference. My daughter started at Simba St Ivs since last November, the teachers are amazing, they are always nice to kids and friendly share kids’ performances to parents, the management team is helpful to communicate with parents. I’m so happy to choose Simba St Ivs for my daughter.

I’m a first time mum sending my two year old off at daycare. It took few tours until I found the right one. As soon as we met the director , Hanishka, we just knew it was the right place. They are not just a centre for you to drop off your kids. It just felt like a family vibe, from the way they make sure I’m always reassured that my child gets the care and the love. I wouldn’t have it any other way. I would highly recommend Simba St Ives, since I can’t seem to find any other that felt just right for my son and I. Thank you for your support and care, and I’m confident to send him off knowing he is cared and safe.

Our son has attended this nursery for the past year, and we honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. From the very beginning, the staff made him feel safe, welcome, and genuinely cared for — which gave us huge peace of mind as parents. The team are incredibly kind, patient, and attentive, and it’s clear they truly care about each child as an individual. We’ve seen such a positive change in our son’s confidence, independence, and development over the year, and he’s always been happy to go in each morning.

From the get go, Simba has been absolutely terrific! I'd checked out a few places, but Simba stuck out straight away. The centre itself is great, lots of space and different kinds of options for activities. My daughter joined just after turning one and Simba's staff have been amazing helping her transition to being away from me. From the activities she gets to do in the day to the bonds with her peers and especially the nurturing staff - Simba is an asset in her development. The director is so friendly and so engaged, always giving updates when I pick up my daughter. I highly recommend Simba.

We couldn’t be happier with Simba, it’s not just a child care it’s second home for kids to stay in a safe environment. The centre itself is bright and clean. The educators well trained, experienced and actually cares about the children’s wellbeing. Highly recommended Simba. ❤️

Simba has been absolutely fantastic. My 2nd daughter joined when I went back to work at 9 months old and she’s like a different child. Absolutely thriving, learning so much. She’s always so happy to see the educators and no issues at drop off which shows how much she loves it there. They have so many awesome activities, always planning new extra curricular activities and lots of help and information for parents all the time. I really trust them with my daughter and so grateful to have found such a great place given we are also new to the area. Highly highly recommend!

Simba Education St Ives has been very professional, dedicated and supportive. Hanishka has supported us getting started and settle in to daycare and has been amazing as a manager. I cannot appreciate more for the support we received from all the teachers involved in my daughter’s care. Our daughter absolutely loves the open arms of Miss Kylie and Evelyn every single morning she attends Simba. Thanks so much.

I’m very impressed with this school. Everything is well-organized, and the atmosphere is so warm and welcoming. My daughter absolutely loves it here! Every day she asks me, “Mom, what day is it today?” When I ask her why, she says, “Do I get to go to school today? I want to go to school!” Normally, she attends four days a week, but she’s been asking if she can go every day — that’s how much she enjoys it! She’s always happy to see her lovely friends and kind teachers. And especially Ms. Hanishka, the center manager — she always welcomes us so warmly and helps us every time we need assistance. We truly love Simba! ❤️
