Don’t listen to the 1 star review, they have no idea what they are talking about and frankly it’s slanderous at this point, I’ve been bringing my girls here almost since open, staff hasn’t changed. There has been one, ONE person who had actually left due to personal reasons and aside from that new staff. You know people who are looking to get into childcare, NEW staff. And for management the old centre manager is still very much apart of the day to day, they are just more focused in the back end but we still see here every day. The new staff always love to see the kids anytime we drop off and pick up the girls and they are very engaging. The mix up with clothes - is easy especially when most parents by the SAME STUFF unintentionally (I’ve been done by that before) The kinderm8 system is an IT error not a centre error and they are looking to rectify it. To the person who put that one star review has serious problems, I’ve come in whilst other parents are complaint and I can assure you THAT parent in particular has no clue what they are even saying. We’ve been to other centres and those have lied about a lot of stuff with my kids and little Zaks takes the best care of my girls that I could’ve asked for, and when the leave I know the whole centre will be upset because of how much the adore ALL the kids So if you d taken time to read this review please disregard the 1 star review because frankly it’s bullshit. We had a wonderful experience with LZ Auburn. The teachers (Ms Dipa, Ms Aleef, Ms Gina….) are caring, patient, and truly invested in the children’s development. Our daughter grew in confidence, social skills, and early learning throughout the year. The environment is clean, safe, and well-organized, with plenty of engaging activities that keep the children interested and excited to learn. Communication with parents is excellent—we always felt informed and supported. Most importantly, our daughter and now our son was happy and looked forward to going every day. We highly recommend this preschool to other families.

Our child attends Little Zak’s Auburn, and unfortunately our experience has declined significantly after the recent management and staffing changes. Since the new team came in, there seems to be very little engagement with the children compared to before. Many of the new staff appear inexperienced and often seem disengaged. We regularly see young children crying for long periods without much interaction or comfort from staff. Simple things like wiping a child’s nose or actively engaging with them don’t seem to happen consistently. Communication and daily reporting have also become unreliable. The Kinder app, which is meant to provide updates and photos throughout the day, is frequently not working or not updated properly. At times it shows records that don’t make sense, such as meals logged after the child has already gone to sleep. We have also experienced several organisational issues such as: Wrong items packed in bags Children’s belongings being mixed up Incorrect meals being given at times These things may sound small individually, but when they happen repeatedly it becomes concerning. To be fair, there are still a few senior carers who genuinely engage with the kids and create a warm environment. However, many of the newer staff seem overwhelmed or undertrained, and the overall atmosphere feels very different from before. Another concern is the lack of visible leadership. The previous centre manager was often present in the rooms and interacting with parents and children. Recently, the new manager appears mostly office-based, and there is little communication or engagement with families. As parents, trust is everything when leaving your child in someone else’s care. Unfortunately, after multiple attempts to raise concerns, we feel that our feedback has not been taken seriously. I hope the centre takes this feedback constructively and works on improving staffing quality, engagement with children, and communication with parents.

I would like to highly recommend Little Zak's Auburn. I am Wasif, Sarah Sabeen’s dad. Sarah has been coming to your centre for the past year in year 3-4 room, and it has truly been an amazing experience for her at Little Zak’s because of your effort and dedication. We have seen continuous improvement in Sarah over time, and we are so grateful for that. Miss Fatema – Thank you for supporting Sarah in her learning journey, especially with following instructions. The daily activities in your room have helped her learn A–Z and count from 1–30 effortlessly, without any extra effort from us at home. Miss Sarah – Thank you for helping Sarah develop her social communication skills and discover her interests in painting and the solar system. She used to be shy and hesitant to communicate with new people, but now she has improved so much and can spend hours painting and coloring. Miss Shusma – Thank you for taking care of Sarah and making her time at childcare enjoyable and safe. My Keke had her last day today at Little Zak’s Auburn. What an amazing centre to have my little one flourish over the last year and a bit. From 11 months to 2 years I’ve seen my daughter be taught with compassion, loved unconditionally by her educators, and develop extremely quickly as a result of the curriculum they teach at little zaks. A big shout out to moneisha and prinsha, whom had a profound affect on the enjoyment my daughter had in her time there and the pleasant drop offs on her days. I truly thank and appreciate this centre from the bottom of my heart and I encourage anyone in the Cumberland council area to put their little ones in this centre. As a person who has run programs in preschools I can clearly see Little Zak’s is doing all the right things. The worst thing about Little Zak’s is the fact they have set such a high expectation for the next centre

I was very hesitant to enrol my first born in daycare but when I visited Littke zak’s for an orientation and tour i was very impressed and immediately enrolled him. He has been going for over a year now and he has grown so much in his skills. He loves the centre and has a good time everyday. Watching him love it encouraged me to enrol my second child at an earlier age and she has been loving her time there too. Gina is an amazing director and has a good rapport with each child and their family. The educators are always ready to give feedback on the kids and take such good care of my babies. I highly recommend this centre to every parent.

Highly recommend little Zak auburn centre. Such a welcoming environment from the moment you enter the centre. Melisa is very informative and patient and welcoming. All the educators are so friendly and supportive. My 2 year old normally doesn’t settle in the morning in the centre but with constant support from Educators Alif, Tracey and Mina has been amazing and now he has started setting. All the other educators are so supportive and friendly. Thank you to the entire team for helping my little one grow and learn from you all. All your support and love means a lot to my little Prish. Thank you once again.

I can’t recommend Little Zak’s Auburn highly enough! From the moment we joined, Centre Director Gina has been absolutely amazing — she’s warm, professional, and genuinely invested in each child’s development. My son has thrived here, and the progress in his speech has been incredible. The educators have been so patient, encouraging, and supportive, and now I can confidently say he’s more than ready for primary school next year. A big shoutout as well to Miss Tash, the chef — the food she prepares is fantastic! Nutritious, delicious, and always a hit with the kids. It’s such a comfort knowing my son is not only learning and growing but also enjoying healthy, home-style meals every day. Little Zak’s Auburn truly feels like a second home for our family, and we’re so grateful for the care and dedication shown by the whole team.

What a fantastic centre this is! From the moment you enter the reception area you feel welcomed into the Little Zaks Family. Our boys love going to Daycare. Even more so now that swimming lessons have started. Well done and Thank you to all staff for taking care of our babies whilst we work. :)
