Everyone at Aurora ELC has been absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, I felt completely comfortable leaving my child in their care. I’ve had no complaints in the two years my child attended. In fact, my child has grown from being very shy to becoming confident and comfortable, which speaks volumes about the environment and support provided. The teachers at Aurora have been wonderful, and I’m incredibly grateful to Lisa and her team. A special mention to Sami, Katie, Jo, Jasmine and all the other teachers for always being supportive and for working closely with us on every goal we had before school. Would recommend Aurora ELC 100%. Thank you so much for everything you've done.

We’ve had a wonderful experience at this daycare. The educators are absolutely amazing and genuinely care about the children. The director, Lisa, is a wonderful leader—kind, professional, and always supportive. They took such great care of my daughter, and she learned so many new things during her time there. I felt confident knowing she was in a safe, nurturing, and positive environment every day. Since 1989, the Aurora Early Learning Centre has faithfully serviced the families within the Blacktown area from its central and convenient location on 186 Flushcombe Road.
In mid-2014 the centre was reinvented by Dalal Lim (B. App. Science - University of Sydney), a qualified Speech Therapist with 22 years of professional experience in the Speech and Communications development of young children. As the leader and active director, her experience and love in early learning development and pedagogy sees herself leading a team of passionate and well qualified educators.
Aurora ELC are embarking on a journey to redefine the future of child care and early learning through the emphasis on speech and communications, healthy food, caring and active lifestyle. They offer a safe and nurturing environment with the support of dedicated and qualified early learning professionals.
The services on offer are:
- Long day care program for 2-5 years old
- Before and after school care
- Vacation care program
- School readiness program
- Sports and yoga program
- Dance program
- Language program
- Nutritionally balanced meals prepared daily on site
- Online individualised children portfolio
- Exciting nature based concept outdoor play area
With 2 vibrant rooms, the Bumblebee and Dragonfly rooms that caters for different age group, They are a 39 place Centre that pride on our detail attention to the children's needs and development. In addition, the Grasshopper Program caters for our Out of School Hours Care (OOSH).
They offer healthy and balanced meals that focuses on freshness and nutritional value. In addition to the large sunny outdoor play area, with the help of our children, they built their own organic vegetable & fruit and herb garden. This forms part of the children's understanding on food and its origin.
Aurora Blacktown is rated as Exceeding National Quality Standard by the Department of Education & Training.
