My 2 children have been attending Star academy since they were 9 months old. They are now almost 3 and 4 years... My 2 children have been attending Star academy since they were 9 months old. They are now almost 3 and 4 years of age and their development and growth has excelled mainly because of the structured education offered at the school with the educators who have been with my kids since day one. The teachers are extremely caring & treat each child differently according to their individual needs. My daughter demonstrates strong communication skills as she started speaking sentences at the age of 2yrs and my son who had delayed learning due to his premature birth has excelled in his confidence and overall development while at star academy which makes me feel very confident about the future. I am very grateful for the hard work and care the educators have provided to my kids and would highly rate Star Academy as a great start to any child’s life. Read more

We had a terrible experience when we applied for my child to enrol at this child care centre at Campsie. They asked to pay $140 ($40 administration fee and $100 bond) and said will refund when my child enrol. However they did not approve the application as ours booking, so i asked them to refund my money. but they never refund and even i called them more than twenty phone calls. they haven’t refund me. They never answer my email and not answer my phone call to explain why not refund to me. Highly recommended to STAY AWAY this child care centre. If you don’t to waste your time, money and headache. My daughter had been to this place for more than 2 years and she was treated very roughly.My daughter was scared of the carer named Nicola. She would cry the moment she saw her.I thought may be because of separation anxiety but I could feel the difference in my daughter after starting a new day care. The carers are busy with their personal stuff on phone specially at Campsie centre. Their account management is horrible and they do it intentionally and would over charge you thinking it would go unnoticed. I gave them 4 weeks notice as was told by Jenny (the manager) but then she never picked the phone and never returned the calls for refund. My husband had to call the director to ask for the complaint number and it was then they refunded the bond after 4 weeks. Be watchful as I noticed some things which are really unacceptable for 3 year olds. I kept ignoring!One postive thing only that they helped with weaning of bottles. STAY AWAY from this child care. DO NOT TRUST their sweet talk as you will be soon dissapointed like me.They know the tricks to impress the parents. Jenny would request for a postive review as well!😄 Read more

At that time, upon our first tour with Jenny, we immediately felt comfortable and felt that it was a loving, clean, and safe environment for our Zeina. Jenny provided an excellent environment for our daughter and also became an invaluable resource for us as parents. She helped us establish routines and gave tips and advice on general care. She truly provides much more than an average "daycare" environment, she genuinely cares about all of the children under her care and especially with our daughter whom absolutely adores her. She also works with us as parents to tackle any of the difficult stages we encountered during our time with her. As Zeina grew, we realized what an amazing learning environment Jenny had created at Star Academy Kids. Not only did she provide a safe environment for her to explore her own world and socialize with other children, Jenny also helped provided an appropriate curriculum for her to prepare fore kindegarten. She encouraged learning with daily routines and activities ranging from puzzles, to early math and reading/writing skills. Jenny`s techniques are extremely effective and her calm, yet firm, manner produced amazing results with our daughter. Now that our Zeina goes to public school this past year, she is one of the top with reading and math , she is also one of her teachers favourites being a little helper and likes to get involved with all the students in her class which we contribute to the wonderful foundation and head start that Jenny had provided for her at Star Academy Kids. Not only did she teach her the skills necessary to perform, but she provided her with the confidence and discipline to always be the best. Jenny has done the same with all of the children that have attended with Zeina at Star Academy kids. Jenny is always available for discussions or questions, and we are always kept informed of our children's progress and activities by her. I recommend Jenny to any parents looking for daycare/preschool recommendations. It is hard to put into words how wonderful Jenny has been, but I truly feel that our daughter has received the best possible foundation and Jenny played and still plays a big role with Zeina. From the moment we had a tour of the centre, Jenny has gone above and beyond to cater to all our needs. Her care for the families and the high expectations she sets for her team assured us that our son is in the best possible care. Not only has she been accomodating through covid but has supported us in ensuring our son had the best transition to daycare. When you walk through the centre, it is evident that the educators have built strong relationships. The educators and Jenny have been so responsive to all our questions, queries and worries as first time parents and have made going back to work and leaving your baby that little bit easier! 5/5 would recommend!
