Greenleaves Ballarat is hands down one of the best centres around. The educators here are wonderful, nothing is ever too much trouble. Compassion, understanding, loving, caring and kind people. I recommend Greenleaves to everyone. Amazing place. Also to Ernie the chef 👨🍳 too! Always creating such nutritious meals and being involved in each room. I encourage parents to tour this centre, you won't be disappointed. ✨️🌞🌿

We couldn't be happier with our experience at Green Leaves Wendouree daycare centre! From the moment we first walked through the door, we felt a warmth and genuine care that has only grown stronger over time. The Educators and staff are absolutely amazing—they are not only highly professional and organized, but they also have a deep, personal connections with every child and especially the Admin Staff which is so heartwarming to see as this seemed to be one of the first things lacking in our last daycare placement prior to Green Leaves. Our little man comes home every day chatting away with excitement about the fun stuff he got up too for the day, the new things he learned, and the wonderful friends he got to play with. The Centre and it's Education are thoughtfully designed to be both educational and engaging, with a perfect balance of structured activities and free-play for him. The facilities are always immaculate, bright, and filled with toys and art materials that spark creativity and exploration. Knowing that our little man’s in such a safe, nurturing, and joyful environment gives my family, incredible peace of mind. You always have made me feel reassured and have never let myself or the family down when it came to Hudson’s Well being as well as his Education (Little man has ADD and Autism) We feel so lucky to have found such a fantastic place and would highly recommend it to any family looking for the very best care for their little one but also those wanting a place for your children to feel like they are walking into their Second Home, as you become family at Green Leaves Wendouree! The 6 generously sized learning hubs create an environment for the children that is friendly, homely, and secure. The learning hubs are packed full of rich and inviting learning experiences for your children to explore which in the Kinder room, includes a modern approach to technology allowing children the freedom to discuss and explore the wider world around them.
Green Leaves Wendouree offers a fully approved and funded, 3 and 4-year-old Kinder program, based on the Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF). Our Kinder program is led by a Bachelor-qualified Early Childhood Teacher.

6 weeks - 12 months
Our Educators partner with families to ensure each baby’s routine is personalised to meet their individual needs. The nursery children take part in activities within a stimulating learning environment and enjoy group time during their music and movement program, or visits from special guests. Throughout the day, they enjoy taking part in songs and storytelling, sensory activities, and messy play in our light-filled learning hubs. Under the guidance of their Educators, the nursery children enjoy nutritious Chef-prepared meals. During rest time, the nursery children have a nap under a twinkling night sky, accompanied by tranquil music which creates the perfect ambience for quality rest.
2 years - 3 years
Our toddlers enjoy a daily rhythmic routine which assists them to transition between activities throughout the day such as music and movement, yoga, culinary lessons, painting, drawing, singing and dancing, STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math) based activities. As they learn about the wider world around them, the toddlers are guided by our Educators to cherish and protect the natural world through the centre’s sustainability program. Performing daily, predictable tasks while having fun encourages toddlers to build their self-confidence, communication and social skills. During mealtimes, the toddlers enjoy nutritious Chef-prepared meals to fuel their active, growing bodies.
3 years - 4 years
Our Pre-Kinder program is designed to provide curious three-year-olds with a well-rounded play-based learning experience. Supported by qualified and experienced Educators, the children learn key skills such as creative thinking and problem-solving, develop social and emotional skills, as well as early literacy and language skills - which lays the groundwork for success later in life. Throughout the day, the children engage in activities that include literacy and numeracy games, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math) activities to encourage children to think creatively and critically. During mealtimes, the children enjoy nutritious Chef-prepared meals to fuel their active, growing bodies.
4 years - 6 years
Foundational life skills are pivotal in our Kinder curriculum and underpin the Positive School Transition programs we offer our children. Our Kinder learning journey celebrates the children’s individuality and encourages their love of learning through inspiring and quality play-based opportunities to help them develop memory skills, language and self-regulation, supporting the transition to school and academic learning later on in life. The children also enjoy yoga, visits from special guests, and regular excursions to local parklands. Mealtimes are an opportunity for the children to enjoy social interactions with their friends and Educators, as well as learn about body awareness and nutrition. Practicing independence, the children help to set up, serve, and clear away their dining area. Throughout the day, the Kinder children engage in activities that include literacy and numeracy games, outdoor fun, and STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Math). The active Kinder children particularly enjoy the outdoor adventures around the bike track, building volcanoes in the sandpit or expanding their green thumb knowledge, through cultivating the edible gardens that provide countless hours of eco-education and fun.

Nutrition plays a vital role in childhood development. At Green Leaves Early Learning, the centre Chef prepares nutritious meals based on seasonally crafted menus to nourish active growing bodies.
As part of their learning journey, babies, toddlers, and children will take part in Chef-led culinary classes, where they will learn the importance of nourishing their bodies while preparing wholesome snacks.
