My daughter coming to this centre. My elder son used to attend this centre too. We love Redfern cottage. It's wonderful service with good management team and educators. I recommend this service for everyone who wants a safe and secure environment.

I couldn’t be happier with the care and support my child has received here. From the very beginning, the staff have been warm, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child’s wellbeing and development. It’s clear that they create a nurturing environment where children feel safe, valued, and encouraged to explore. The educators go above and beyond to provide engaging, age-appropriate activities that support learning through play. I’ve noticed such positive growth in my child’s confidence, communication skills, and curiosity since attending. The daily updates and open communication give me real peace of mind, knowing exactly how my child is progressing and feeling. The centre itself is always clean, well-organised, and thoughtfully set up with plenty of stimulating resources. Safety is clearly a top priority, which is incredibly reassuring as a parent. We’ve had a wonderful experience with Redfern Cottage Minto Child Care Centre. Our elder son attended before starting school, and now our younger one is still there receiving great care. The staff are kind, supportive, and truly dedicated to the children’s development. Highly recommend!

As a mum, trusting someone else with your child is one of the hardest things you can do—especially when your child has never left your care. My 17-month-old daughter’s first daycare experience elsewhere was heartbreaking. After attending a centre in Ingleburn, she became withdrawn, stopped interacting, and would wake up crying at night. I still don’t know exactly what happened there, and while they denied anything was wrong, it was painfully clear that something had affected her deeply. Starting at Redfern Cottage Early Learning Centre has been the complete opposite—one of the best decisions I’ve made. From day one, the educators made me feel welcome and reassured, especially Miss Jasmine and Miss Afifa. Today, I was running late to pick my daughter up, and through the window I saw her sitting so comfortably in Miss Jasmine’s lap, then happily following her around. That simple sight filled me with peace. As a working mum, knowing my daughter is cared for with genuine love and attention means everything. She comes home happy, unchanged in her personality, and still the same vibrant little person I know. I finally feel at ease knowing she’s in the right place. My only feedback would be regarding the app parents use to track the progress of their kids. The app doesn’t show a lot of vital details.

Redfern Cottage is the absolute best centre by far! We travel almost 30 minutes each way every weekday to drop and pick up our toddler son and do not regret it one bit. The facility, the staff, and especially the educators are simply the best. The educators truly care for and nurture the little ones. I don't think it can be described in words how amazing the educators are. I am seriously in awe of them. My son almost dances his way to his room every morning and it warms my heart to know that he is truly happy to be there. Hats off to the Redfern Team!! We as parents are beyond grateful.

Two of my children attended Redfern Cottage in Minto. My daughter started in the 2 year old room and is now graduating from the 5 year old room and going to Kindergarten. Choosing a daycare for your child is so difficult especially when they are little and can't talk or communicate. I loved the large area of Redfern Cottage. The huge outdoor area and big classrooms are great for the kids. I love how big the classrooms were and spacious. This is great especially if the weather is bad and the kids can't go outside. The classrooms are big enough for them to play and roam around. We found Redfern Cottage great at dealing with any issues that arose. They are accepting of feedback and quick to make changes. My daughter is very happy at Redfern Cottage. She created a great relationship with all the teachers. Everyone knows her name and greets her when she comes to daycare. She goes to the teachers easily and they will carry her or sit with her until she feels good about going to play. My son went to Redfern Cottage for 6 months and has many allergies. Redfern Cottage took his allergies very seriously and ensured that all staff were aware of his allergies. We did not have any allergic reactions at Redfern Cottage. I love all the events that the daycare puts on. My daughter looks forward to all the Christmas parties, Easter parties and so on. The daycare if very multicultural too which I love. There is great diversity amongst the teachers and the students attending too. I would not hesitate to recommend Redfern Cottage to anyone. It was a great daycare and the office managers Taylor, Naima and Kystelle are great too.
