After bullying at Ascot pk kindy, my 4 year old attended this kindy. Bullying didn't seem a problem here til last week of term in December 2025 when I shared a photo of bruising to my child at the hands of another girl I sent a photo to K Turner of my child's kidney area showing numerous bruises. I was called in to discuss the matter. Ms Turner forcefully advised me not to send photos of a private nature, (her back)to which I took offence, as the staff needed to see injuries that seemed to go unseen by them. In usual K Turner style she sent me a email next day detailing our conversation, but omitted to detail, injuries and my concerns. Next issue. There is a educator who attends Pps kindy on Fridays fortnightly. Last week, she was there all day Wednesday, when I went to collect my daughter from the full day of kindy, I'm told there was an incident between my child and another who are friends, fighting over a chair as each girl wanted to sit and have lunch sitting next to another girl, the friend of both. I'm asked to sign incident report as apparently my child sustained an injury to her leg when Ida took the chair away to give it to the other child.I signed the report based on what Rebecca told me. When home I asked my child why she hadn't eaten a smidgen of lunch and what happened. She told me beginning to cry, Ida pulled the chair from under her while she sat on it, she fell to the ground hurting her bottom began to cry, and was made to sit in the other side of the table. The incident report Rebecca explained said she was a little teary. My child had a chair pulled out from under her, she fell on her bottom, ordered to sit on other side cried the whole lunch time and didn't even open her lunch box to eat I contacted K Turner to ask to see her. At this meeting 3 days later I ask, are the children supervised at lunch, yes I'm told, then I said why then if they are can my child be allowed to sit cry and not eat when everyone else is and why wasn't this noticed. No reply other than the different story she and Petria who was present at this meeting were trying to convince me of, Ida's story. I asked for the report I signed and was shown one dated 10 March. Unsure, when home I checked my diary to find the incident occurred on wed 18 March 2026. K Turner the next day after our meeting sends me an email to document our conversation as she does, totally omits my concerns. Why was a child let to sob in front of others around lunch table and not eat any lunch and of top of that be injured by Ida who is supposed to be caring for mine and other children. In this instance the educator was the bully. This seems to go on way to much in what we parents think are safe kindy's for our kids to attend, and the kindergarten system needs to be seriously looked at, as all they seem to do is cover their backsides. This lady definately has an issue with confrontation whether it be a parent or a 4 year old. My 4 yo is 2 foot high, Ida 5 feet, peering down on her angrily after she's hurt her.The way she treated my child is inexcusable. My child asked today, being a Friday, 'will Ida be there to which I replied yes, stay away from her, play with your friends, and stay close with Rebecca and Petria. She told me she did say to Ida today, something about not wanting to be near her the response was "I'm everywhere' all this happening to and being said to a 4 year old!! Nothing but a comment of power and to fear! They have kindy free days to have staff training, perhaps some of this training that parents pay for in our fees can better go toward the line manger of SA being more involved,. Both with education of educators and hearing concerns of parents. This what I describe goes on way to much in the kindy 's where we think our kids are being looked after. Perhaps those educators without caring, compassion empathy or patience with children should retire. The system doesn't need them or their anger and inability to control their emotions when faced with challenging situations, Their abusive actions can have life long effects on a young child.
