Programs
School readiness program: The educators help the children prepare for school through literacy, numeracy, science, and motor skills. As well as developing children’s social and emotional intelligence, self-regulation, self-esteem, confidence, and the ability to challenge bias.
Language program: The centre employs a bilingual educator who is fluent in English and Japanese. The language program encourages the children to learn Japanese through stories, music, games and play.
Little Wombats: Is an incursion where our children get to engage in learning about our first nation people and their culture. Our Children learn through storytelling, music, cooking and arts and crafts.
Soccer Joeys: A specialist sport program to aid children in physical, motor, social, and emotional development. Soccer Joeys follows unstructured play that improves communication and cognitive skills. Soccer Joeys is child led and encourages freedom of movement, expression and imagination.
STEAM: Children participate in Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics as part of the curriculum at the centre. Some fun activities include, making hot air balloons, science experiments, play-based learning about astronomy, dinosaurs, life cycles of insects and much more.
Incursions and excursions: Children participate in regular incursions and excursions throughout the year including visits to our local parks, local primary schools, cultural celebrations, book week events and dental visits.
