We’ve had such a positive experience at AMIGA Montessori Greenvale with both our 2 year old daughter and almost 5 year old son. The educators are caring, attentive and genuinely take the time to get to know our kids, and we’ve been really happy with the quality of care and education. I’m always banging on to other mums about how great you guys are because we genuinely couldn’t be happier. Communication with the educators is always easy and open, and the centre has such a lovely, welcoming and calm environment.

There are some people who come into your child’s life for only a short time, but leave a lasting mark on their journey. For my little boy, the Burrow Team is one of those special groups of people. ❤️<br><br>Starting childcare was not easy for him at all. He cried a lot, was very unsettled and struggled to adjust. And as a mum, leaving my crying baby and walking away was honestly one of the hardest things for me.<br><br>But the Burrow Team never gave up on him.<br><br>They were so patient, gentle and caring. They kept calling me and updating me because they understood how worried I was. Even on the days when he cried so much, they never asked me to come and pick him up. They kept cuddling him, playing with him, comforting him and patiently helping him settle.<br><br>And slowly, little by little, he became comfortable. ❤️<br><br>I could see how much the educators cared for him, even on the days when they looked exhausted. Every afternoon, I would pick up a happy, calm little boy, and that gave me so much peace as a mum.<br><br>I’m also so grateful to the amazing cook because my little boy absolutely loved the food at Amiga! 🥰<br><br>And especially, thank you Molly. Your careful observation of my son’s ears made such a huge difference. Because you noticed something that we hadn’t, we were able to discover his ear infection and get him the treatment and surgery he needed at the right time. He has now regained his hearing, and I will always be incredibly grateful to you for that.<br><br>My little boy is now overseas receiving further treatment, and sadly he has had to say goodbye to his Burrow Team and his friends. But I truly believe that the confidence he gained at Amiga has helped him so much in adapting to his new environment, even in another country far away from Mum and Dad.<br><br>Thank you, Burrow Team, for being there for him when he needed you most. Thank you for your patience, your kindness, your cuddles and all the little things you did that meant so much to us.<br><br>You were not just his childcare educators. You were a very important part of his first little journey into the world.<br>And we will always be grateful for everything you have done for our little boy. ❤️

The team are amazing here! Our room leader Nikita is fantastic with our child who has a severe dietary condition. She is attentive, considerate and proactive. We feel instantly warmed when we walk in the centre and are always greeted with happiness by any and all educators. We receive regular updates about our children throughout the day and always feel at ease knowing they are so well looked after. We highly recommend this centre!

The educators are friendly, caring and always make the kids feel comfortable and welcome.<br><br>It’s been great watching our kids grow and develop while being supported by such a great team. We’ve always felt confident leaving them at Amiga and would definitely recommend it to other families.

Amiga Montessori Greenvale seems to have such a warm, welcoming and positive culture. The staff are friendly, professional and genuinely seem to care about creating a nurturing and respectful environment for children and families.<br><br>What really stands out is the sense of teamwork and the positive atmosphere among the staff. It feels like a centre where people are passionate about what they do and committed to creating a safe, supportive and engaging environment for children.<br><br>The culture of the centre comes across as caring, inclusive and family-focused, with a strong emphasis on making children feel comfortable, valued and supported. A lovely environment with a wonderful team!

Just wanted to raise something that a few local families have been talking about regarding Amiga Montessori in Greenvale on Palmyra Street. First off, this is not about race or culture. We are all part of the wider Australian community here unless you are Aboriginal. Most of us came from somewhere else at some point, and Greenvale has always been a beautiful, close knit suburb because of that mix. But there has been a growing concern around bullying, hitting, and aggressive behaviour between some of the kids at the centre, and honestly, it is upsetting hearing what some children are experiencing at such a young age. No child is born bad. Kids are innocent and they learn from the environment around them. That is exactly why it is so important for both parents and schools to step in early and teach that hurting, intimidating, or bullying others is simply not acceptable. We really need to move away from the whole “kids will be kids” mindset when another child’s wellbeing is affected. What is even more disappointing is that many parents feel educators are either overwhelmed or turning a blind eye at times, and the administration keeps making promises that do not seem to lead to real change. If there are not enough staff to properly supervise and support the children, then more educators need to be hired, and not just more staff for the sake of numbers, but genuinely caring and attentive educators who actually prioritise children’s wellbeing. Greenvale is a lovely community and I think most of us want to keep it that way. We should all be working together to create a safe and respectful environment for our kids from the earliest age possible, because those lessons carry through into primary school, high school, and beyond. Hopefully Amiga’s administration takes these concerns seriously and starts listening to the families who have been raising these issues for quite some time now.

If I could give this centre less than 1 star I would. This centre completely failed my nephew and my family. The level of neglect, safety issues, and lack of accountability is unacceptable for any childcare service. Communication is terrible. Important matters were either ignored or brushed off, and when concerns were raised, there was no ownership, no follow-up, and no care. It felt like once fees were paid the wellbeing no longer mattered. The environment felt unsafe, unprofessional, and poorly managed. I would never recommend this centre to any parent who values their child’s safety and emotional wellbeing. If you are considering enrolling here — don’t. There are far better centres that actually take responsibility for the children in their care.
