From the very first adaptation day to graduation, this kindergarten became much more than just a place our child attended - it became a second home, and a place of complete trust for us as parents. We are deeply grateful to all the staff, with Kayla leading such an incredible team, and especially to the wonderful educators Grace and Jade, who truly made a lasting difference. Their calm presence, patience, and genuine care removed every worry and stress we had as parents. Knowing our child was loved, supported, and understood every single day gave us an indescribable sense of peace. What makes this place truly special is the heart behind everything they do - the daily creativity, meaningful activities, constant innovation, and the way educators are always there to guide and support not only the children, but the parents as well. The love and dedication shown here is consistent, sincere, and deeply felt. We will always be thankful for the confidence, growth, and beautiful memories our child takes from this experience. We started our little one here at Shapes Mount Gravatt this year and we have nothing but positive things to share! All the staff have been so welcoming and supportive from our transition to starting daycare as parents and for our little guys first experience. The rooms are lovely and spacious, with an array of wonderful toys and activities. We have no doubt our boy is in safe hands here. Special mention to Miss Kayla and Miss Meredith who have been so lovely to communicate with. We look forward to creating more memories with this centre.

The environment is clean and tidy, and the food is rich in variety and delicious. My child is in kindy. The teacher, Grace, is very responsible and arranges very rich and interesting activities and learning contents for the children every day. She also pays much attention to the children and is very patient.

This childcare centre is by far the best one my children have ever attended. My second child is currently in the Kindy room, and the educators always go above and beyond to provide engaging activities and fresh content for the children. You can genuinely feel the love and care they put into teaching each child. The attention to detail and the way they nurture each little one is truly heartwarming. The educators know every child so well and show genuine interest in their growth and wellbeing. Not only the Kindy educators, but also the management team, the director, the kitchen staff, and everyone involved in running the centre are always kind, approachable, and full of positive energy. I honestly believe this is the best centre out there.

I’ve never come across an early learning centre that puts in this much heart and care. Both the educators and the management team are genuinely kind, thoughtful, and professional. You can really feel that they care. They design fun and meaningful programs, with lots of engaging and educational activities. Every month there are themed days, guest educators, and even amazing experiences like watching eggs hatch into chicks right at the centre – it’s just adorable! My child absolutely loves it here. From my own experience, they’ve never brushed off any of my questions. Every drop-off and pick-up comes with a warm and friendly greeting, and every educator knows both the children’s names and the parents’ names. Even when new staff join, they blend in so quickly – it really feels like a little family. When my daughter first started, it took her about a month to settle in (she usually finds new environments hard to adjust to), but in the end, she was asking to go even on the weekends! She went from not understanding English at all to singing English songs at home and showing a strong interest in the language. I feel so lucky and grateful to have found this centre – it’s given me so much peace of mind knowing my child is in such a wonderful and nurturing environment. Definitely more than 5 star👏

I cannot speak highly enough of Shapes Early Learning Upper Mt Gravatt. After having a less-than-ideal experience at another centre, discovering Shapes has been a breath of fresh air — it is truly unlike anything else. The warmth, joy, and care radiate from every corner of this centre. Miss Kayla is an exceptional Practice Manager who goes above and beyond to build trust, safety, and transparency with families. Her kindness, professionalism, and genuine compassion make all the difference — she treats each family with care and respect, and we are so grateful for her support. The educators and nursing staff are simply outstanding. Their deep understanding of early childhood development, attachment theory, and sensory and neurological learning is evident in everything they do. Each activity is so thoughtfully and purposefully designed to support the babies’ growth, learning, and wellbeing. Special thanks to Miss Meredith, Miss Judy, and Miss Roxy — their warmth, attunement, and gentle presence have made all the difference to our little one’s sense of safety and joy. It’s clear how much love and intention they bring to their work. The staff are consistently happy, personable, and deeply engaged. As queer parents - shapes is also incredibly LGBTI+ inclusive - and staff go up and beyond to make sure diverse families are included in special days and events. Our baby is thriving — and as a parent, I couldn’t be more grateful. I recommend Shapes wholeheartedly to any family seeking a nurturing and professional early learning environment.

Out of the 3 day cares my son has attended, Shapes is our favourite. My son’s little personality has really come out with the lovely warm and caring staff especially his favourites Miss Emma and Miss Pitcha. Their attention to the children is amazing and I can’t praise them enough in their job that they do loving and raising our little ones during the day!

Kayla and the team at Shapes are so warm and friendly. My 17 month old son sleeps well (miracle!) and is beaming at pickup. The facilities are incredible and we can't wait to graduate to the beautiful upstairs outdoor space.
