My daughter has been attending Lilypad since she was two, now she is four! In the time she has been at Lilypad, she has received the most empathetic and personalised care by a team who are genuine and passionate. I love that Lilypad employs their own casuals rather than random agency casuals ensuring continuity of care at all times. Every educator is familiar with the children and routines which gives me a peace of mind that random people from an agency are not around my child. The safety of our child is most important to us and Lilypad was the only service who seemed to genuinely put this into action through ratios which exceed the recommended guidelines and the attention to policies and procedures by management and educators. To highlight the incredible educators, the level of attention and care that goes into the programs and their execution is truly amazing. Each time I walk in to drop off/pick up my daughter she expresses her excitement for the next day of what other amazing experiences her educators have planned. Thank you to the entire team!

The daycare is mostly indoors. I know it’s in a shopping centre but it’s still not ideal. This is not a criticism but an opinion.

Worst centre – avoid it! I called to book a tour and explained that I could only do an afternoon visit because of work. I was told they only do tours in the morning. When I said that wouldn’t work for me, the staff member responded, “Why don’t you just book the child without enrolling?” This was very rude, dismissive, and unhelpful. If this is the attitude before enrolment, I can only imagine what it’s like afterwards. There are many much better centres in Ryde that are professional and respectful. I would not recommend this centre.

I don’t have enough words to express how happy my children and I are at Lilypad. The staff are consistent, professional, and genuinely caring. Communication between educators is excellent, everyone knows every child so well, which creates a truly safe and nurturing environment. My oldest son started at Lilypad at age two and is now leaving for Kindy already reading, a bit, adding and subtracting, and talking confidently about the environment, health, and so many topics he actually teaches me about. My youngest started before turning two and has just turned three, and his progress has been incredible. The team has always been extremely attentive and supportive with my children’s needs, including an egg allergy and a hearing loss condition. This level of care and awareness makes all the difference for a parent. The classrooms are always dynamic, with constant rotation of activities, and the educators show incredible creativity in pretend play and learning experiences. The kitchen is outstanding — fresh meals prepared daily, with a highly qualified chef, and you can truly see and feel the care that goes into every meal. If I could give six stars, I absolutely would. Lilypad is more than a childcare centre, it’s a place where children genuinely thrive.

Lilypad is truly a wonderful place. My child absolutely loves going there every day. The teachers, including Carla, Zepuer, Helen, and the rest of the staff, are incredibly kind, patient, and caring. They create a warm and supportive environment where children feel safe and happy. We were also deeply touched that the school prepared special graduation gifts for the graduating children, which made the experience even more meaningful. We are very grateful to Lilypad for all the love and care they give to the children.Again strongly recommend this childcare

My son only attended one day a week for 6 months but he was made to feel welcome, included and a part of the centre. This can only be due to the care he received so for that I am very grateful.

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at this childcare center. Our 4-year-old absolutely loves attending, and we’ve seen so much growth in his confidence, independence, and social skills. The staff are incredibly kind, patient, and genuinely care about every child. They work beautifully with kids who have different needs and challenges, always finding thoughtful, personalised ways to support them. As parents, we’ve felt heard and supported every step of the way. Communication is excellent, and we always feel like we’re part of a team. It’s such a comfort knowing our child is in a safe, nurturing, and inclusive environment each day. We’re so grateful to have found this place!

My God son attends Lilypad and he absolutely loves the place and all the staff! When I picked him up with his father he introduced me to his teachers and was very proud to do so! Couldn’t recommend highly enough!

A Truly Wonderful Childcare – My Son Loves It Here! Lilypad Top Ryde has been such a blessing to our family. My son is so happy here — every day he's excited to go in and play, and that peace of mind as a parent is priceless. The educators are incredibly genuine and caring. You can tell they truly enjoy being with the kids and put a lot of thought into creating a fun, safe, and nurturing environment. What I really love is how active and engaging the program is. They often go on little excursions to the nearby park or library, and there are always fun activities happening — from sports to dancing to creative play. It's a great balance of learning and just letting kids be kids. Bonus points for the super easy parking! Drop-offs and pick-ups are smooth and stress-free.

My daughter has built strong attachment to the educators. We have been there for almost a year. The educators have been very consistent and this speaks to the leadership of the director, Sarah. The educators are truly wonderful angels who have always cared for my little girl, as if she is their own. They always let me know how my little girl have been. The emotional and intellectual growth we've seen in her has been astounding. She’s more confident, social, and genuinely happy. The staff here are incredibly caring and attentive, and their dedication to each child’s well-being and development is evident in everything they do. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
