Jj's has been an absolute blessing for our daughter Hailey. We've really enjoyed our two years in yellow and red group. I love that our daughter would wake up wanting to get to Jj's. That positive energy is just magic. A shout out to the teachers and staff Kylie, Mandy, Vanessa, Kate, Sharon, Chloe and everyone else who has formed the most amazing village for our kids. The gift of happiness, socialisation and learning is a massive gift and can't thank you enough!

We chose JJ after hearing so many rave reviews from friends and we are very happy that we did. The teachers are amazing and the outdoor space is inviting. The indoor space is excellent too, always full of materials and activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity. I really like that they incorporate Spanish into their program. What’s most important though is that my child absolutely loves JJ and talks of her teachers as her best friends. So wonderful to see her thrive there.

Am wholeheartedly giving JJ McMahon Kindergarten 5 stars. We have 2 children who have both attended JJs for 3 and 4 yo kinder (youngest is in last year in 2021) and have only high praise for the staff and our kinder experience. The staff have an amazing, genuine interest in the children and how they are developing. The "learning through play" approach is really core to the kindergarten and allows for appropriate "risk taking", creating, investigating, messiness that children LOVE and need but parents not always able to sanction at home (SO LOVE that JJs has all the messy paint! Would rather not so much of their sandpit comes home in shoes but still...). Our children love the excellent "rambling" yard and giant oak tree out the back and the always changing, thought-provoking toys and craft and "interesting things" to play with inside. The staff have provided enormous support for our whole family, especially when things have been more challenging. They have been able to connect us with / facilitate help from additional experts, when it was needed. This alone prompts my 5-star review. The kindergarten provides a fabulous and inclusive community. Some of our closest family friendships have been forged at JJs. It is a very special place for our whole family.

If you're looking for a kindergarten with plenty of outdoor space, and opportunities for your child to climb, run, get dirty and explore new things look no further than JJ's. The fabulous outdoor space and the friendly, caring staff were what encouraged us to enrol here and we have not been disappointed. I love that they teach the children Spanish and embrace the various cultural backgrounds of the children. The staff have been fabulous in helping our child settle in during what has been an odd time for everyone with all COVID has thrown at the world. It's clear that the staff love their roles and truly care about the children in their classes. It's not a large centre which adds to the appeal. With opportunities for three and four year old kindergarten it's worth checking out, particularly if you're looking for somewhere that takes inspiration from the Reggio Emilia approach to early childhood education.
