Our guiding philosophy is “Setting the Foundations for a Bright Future”

Foundations include all aspects of a child’s development from social and emotional growth to cognitive and physical development . We build on these foundations through a core set of pillars, that our team lives by every day.

Pillar 1: Developing genuine relationships with our families
• families and the centre need to work closely together to have aligned goals for the child’s development
• creating a warm, caring and nurturing environment for children, so they feel like the centre is their “home away from home” and are happy to come here

Pillar 2: Having a highly qualified and passionate team of educators
• leading by example and modelling appropriate behaviours
• genuinely caring about children’s development and best outcomes for children
• spending time building secure attachments with each child. Once children feel safe with their carers and environment, they are ready to explore and learn
• positive behaviour guidance and redirection
• regular formal and informal training opportunities for educators to build on their skill sets. We have an attitude of “constant improvement” at All 4 Kids  

Pillar 3: Providing excellent educational programs
• staying up to date with the latest research on child development
• providing children with a range of high-quality resources and diverse learning experiences such as science experiments, music, singing, STEM, sports, puzzles, mindfulness activities
• daily interactions help educators offer experiences and opportunities for children to “scaffold” their learning, on topics they are interested in
• providing a robust program of teaching early literacy and numeracy through our school readiness program
• instilling an appreciation of nature and the small wonders that happen around us every day, which also helps establish a deep connection to our environment
• provide opportunities for children to play in groups as well as individually

Pillar 4: Promoting good physical growth and healthy habits
• nutritious seasonal meals are prepared fresh each day, so children’s bodies have what they need to grow
• teaching children about how food is grown and the importance of vitamins and minerals
• educators sit with the children during mealtimes to model good eating behaviours and encourage children to have a taste of new foods
• provide a range of outdoor equipment to develop gross motor skills and build large muscles
• incorporate resources for creative, arts-based programs to develop fine motor skills and build smaller muscles
• facilitating opportunities for both rough and tumble play, as well as quiet calming activities

Pillar 5: Community engagement and sense of belonging
• having members of the community come to speak to the children about what they do. For example, fire fighters, nurses, beekeepers, farmers. This teaches children about the broader world around them
• exploring children’s cultures and their family backgrounds, so they feel a sense of belonging
• learning to appreciate different cultures. After all, it is our differences that make each one of us unique!

By setting strong foundations in the early years, our intention is to help children thrive and create a better future for local communities and the world.

My son had so much fun at All 4 Kids Childcare. The rooms are just beautiful and the outdoor play area is an absolute dream for a toddler. The staff are also lovely and friendly and I feel my son is very safe in their hands.

My two daughters have recently started at All 4 Kids and the experience so far has been absolutely wonderful. The centre is clean, spacious and has lots of resources for the kids to explore. Meet our wonderful Kinder Teacher, Melina! She obtained a Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood & Primary) in 2015, and has been working as a Kinder Teacher ever since. She loves being a part of each child's learning journey and is passionate about teaching them important life skills. Melina has two young children of her own and can't wait to welcome yours to her program!
