As a first-time mum, I honestly didn’t know what to look for in a childcare centre or how a good centre should operate. We moved to CHOEL after having a really negative experience elsewhere nearby, and the difference was immediately obvious from day one. The level of professionalism, care, transparency, and communication here is exceptional. There are clear protocols and procedures in place, and parents are always kept informed — whether it’s daily activities, updates through the app, or any incidents or changes throughout the day. As a first-time mum, those regular updates gave me so much reassurance and comfort. Every single staff we’ve encountered has been kind, welcoming, and genuinely caring. You’re always greeted when you walk in, and the centre truly feels like a family environment rather than just a childcare service. One thing I really appreciate is that educators actively listen to parents. Whenever I’ve raised concerns or mentioned routines and approaches we use at home, they’ve been receptive and have actively implemented those things while caring for my child. That level of collaboration means so much. This centre has completely changed my understanding of what a quality childcare centre should look like and how it should be run — and they do it exceptionally well. I now have both of my children attending, and the biggest compliment I can give is that I genuinely feel confident that the staff provide care to the same standard I strive to provide at home. I know this review is a little long, but it is a true reflection of our experience as a family here and I would highly recommend this centre to anyone looking for childcare.

We love children’s house in Mount Evelyn. All my children have gone here. The staff are the best, so caring and loving of the children.

We honestly could not recommend CHOEL more highly. We’ve been there from the babies room right through to graduating 4-year-old Kinder, and throughout every stage we’ve felt so grateful to have found them. The educators are incredibly kind, caring and empathetic. On the occasions we’ve needed to pick the kids up early, we’ve walked in to find them cuddling and comforting them exactly how you’d hope someone would when you can’t be there yourself. There is always a smiling, happy face there to greet us each day, and they truly know the children back to front, their personalities, interests and little quirks. The theme days, excursions, bush kinder and activities are amazing, and our kids absolutely love them. We’ve also been continually blown away by how much they’ve learned, especially during 4-year-old Kinder. Most importantly, our children have always felt safe, loved and happy there, and we feel completely comforted knowing they are in CHOEL’s care each day. We recommend them to all of our friends and family without hesitation.

Cannot say a bad word about the staff, facilities or administration of CHOEL. We've had nothing but positive experiences with them for nearly 8 years now and the educators have become like a second family to my two kids.

The best in the business! We have been a part of the CHOEL family for 1.5 years now, and cannot recommend this team more highly! Our girl is so well looked after while in their care, and has built so many close relationships. Look no further, if you want a warm and inviting environment for your family. The educators are constantly coming up with enriching activities and regularly seek input for areas you would like additional focus on. In my 30 years of experience in performing in early learning centres, so often the staff aren’t suited in their roles. What a pleasure it was to walk into Childrens House Of Early Learning in Mt Evelyn. Celebrating their 10 th birthday, all the staff were dressed up and partying. I thought l was at JOOCE NIGHTCLUB in the 90’s. You wouldn’t believe how much this rubs off onto the children who are all full of beans it was fantastic. Unfortunately it was raining and we couldn’t go outside but the party we had indoors with the 30+ kids and all the staff members dancing and showing off it really was a great way to celebrate a decade in business.
