Centre Manager Jay brings seven years of leadership experience. As a parent herself, she understands the trust families place in their educators. Jay spends time alongside children and the team, connecting through storytelling, singing and gardening. Our founders also visit regularly to stay personally connected with the centre.

At The Hive, we believe that open and meaningful communication is essential to building strong partnerships with families and supporting each child's learning and development.
Through KindyHub, our dedicated parent communication platform, families can stay informed and connected with their child's experiences throughout the day.
Our educators share updates on meals, sleep routines, learning experiences, educational programming and curriculum planning, providing families with valuable insight into their child's daily care and learning journey.

I honestly couldn’t be happier with our experience at The Hive Early Learning Centre. The care, patience and understanding the team has shown towards my son and me throughout his settling-in journey have meant so much to us. ❤️<br><br>On his first day, my son wouldn’t even leave my side, and I used to sit in the lobby waiting for him to settle. Leaving him was not easy for me either. But today, he went to his educator all by himself, and I was able to drop him off and walk away. 🥹❤️ I actually cried seeing him do that because, as a mum, it was such an emotional and proud moment for me. Seeing your little one slowly become comfortable and feel safe with someone else is a feeling I can’t explain.<br><br>Our orientation was initially planned for just two days, but because my son needed more time to settle, the team kindly accommodated us for several more days. They were so patient, humble and supportive throughout the whole process and never made me feel bad for being worried.<br><br>A special thank you to Jay(centre manager) and Leah(deputy Manager) , and also Sue and Shmiran, for your kindness, patience and support. ❤️ Thank you for taking care of my little boy and understanding my feelings as a mum, too. It means so much to see him becoming comfortable and happy.<br><br>I’m genuinely so glad we chose The Hive. Thank you for making this transition easier for both my son and me. These little milestones mean the world to a mother, and today is a moment I’ll always remember. 🥹💕

The manager Jay was so wonderful in helping me to get my foster children enrolled in a very short amount of time. Her customer service and care was exemplary. The orientation was also excellent and the teachers in the 3 and 4 year old section were very kind, caring and patent with all of the children

After doing tours and orientations at a few daycares around, there was no doubt that we've decided to send our grandchild here.<br><br>The level of care and genuine warmth from the Director to educator is exceptional. Communication is always pleasant and respecful. There is a real sense of community and belonging here. It’s clear the leadership team have built an incredible culture here. Most importantly, our grandchild absolutely loves attending the centre every day.<br><br>We genuinely encourage any family in the area to visit the Hive Sunshine, it sets the standards for what a long daycare should be.
