We have been incredibly happy with our experience at the daycare and, most importantly, with how well our daughter has transitioned into their care.<br><br>The educators have been so supportive throughout the transition and have taken the time to follow her own routine and needs rather than expecting her to immediately adapt to a new environment. This made such a difference in helping her settle in at her own pace. She has now transitioned so well that she puts her arms out to the educators as soon as she arrives and happily goes off with them — something that gives us so much reassurance as parents.<br><br>Communication has also been exceptional. Davinder deserves a special mention for always being so approachable, responsive and thorough. We have always felt comfortable asking questions and have never felt like anything was too much trouble. We are continuously kept updated on our daughter’s learning and development plan, as well as how she is progressing throughout the day.<br><br>The live updates are something we particularly value. We receive regular updates about what she is doing, photos throughout the day and even detailed information about her sleep, including regular checks while she is sleeping. As a parent, handing your child over to someone else’s care can understandably come with a lot of worry, so having that constant communication and reassurance makes such a huge difference. We genuinely feel connected to her day even when we aren’t there.<br><br>A very special mention has to go to Dreen, Nadeeka and Aman, who have developed such a beautiful bond with our daughter. Her face lights up when she sees them, and it is so lovely to see how affectionate, warm and caring they are towards her. Seeing her so excited to see them and so comfortable in their care is one of the biggest reassurances we could have as parents.<br><br>Overall, we couldn’t be happier with how our daughter has settled and with the care she receives. The communication, attention to her individual needs, genuine affection from the educators and the effort they put into keeping us informed have made the transition into daycare such a positive experience for our whole family. We are so grateful to the team for making what can be a very emotional and stressful time for parents feel so much easier.

After touring nearly every centre in the 3195 area, our 14 month old baby started at the tucked away, intimate centre at Kindy Patch Mordialloc about 6 weeks ago. Within 3 days of starting, she started walking and feeding herself and is so happy every time we drop her off. Her skill development, social skills, language skills and curiosity have increased 10 fold. The program, activities and staff at Kindy Patch Mordialloc have exceeded my expectations exponentially. The staff and director are experienced, responsive, confident, kind, caring and super supportive and we couldn’t be happier with the service they give us and how happy and loved our baby is there. Kindy Patch Mordialloc is a great little daycare centre. The staff, most of whom have been there for a long time (shows their commitment), are caring, attentive and friendly. Centre manager does an excellent job managing the centre. She is professional, kind and supportive. The kinder teacher is highly educated, worldly and caring person who makes learning an interesting experience. My son has absolutely loved this centre for the past three years he has been attending there. We chose to keep him in Kindy Patch Mordialloc even when logistically he could have been closer to home. I had two kids attend Kindy Patch Mordialloc over 2 years across the 3 rooms. It is such a great centre and I felt my kids were so well cared for. It is a small centre so your kids are given a lot of time and aren’t in a crowded and overstimulating environment. The staff have been there forever which is so hard to find in childcare centres. Staff went above and beyond to provide a high level of care to the kids and to assist families in anyway they could.

All the educators are wonderful and we feel so confident leaving our daughter in their hands. Communication and collaboration with parents is excellent and our daughter is making regular positive improvements with her development and wellbeing. Having come from another centre, we just wish we had come here sooner.
