AND THEY OFFER EXTENDED CARE (so you can have a job!). There aren't many community-run places anymore, Warrandyte Kindy serves "neighbourhood kindy of our dreams", honestly. It is brilliant. We've had a great experience with Warrandyte Kinder since our daughter commenced there. The teachers are lovely and the community as a whole... We've had a great experience with Warrandyte Kinder since our daughter commenced there. The teachers are lovely and the community as a whole is warm and kind. The spaces for the kids are really well designed, great outdoor space with many play areas, excellent kitchen garden for the kids to do some cooking and baking and large open plan indoor rooms. The teachers are truly wonderful—caring, patient, and passionate about creating a nurturing and engaging environment. There’s a strong sense of community, and it’s clear that the kinder values connection, play-based learning, and fostering confidence in little ones. The outdoor spaces are fantastic, and the extended care program has been a huge help for our family. My daughter is in 4 year old kinder this year and says it's her favourite place to go. The teachers are wonderful, kind and caring, and there are always fun activities to do with a variety of resources. The outdoor space is also fantastic, with a great playground, mud kitchen, fairy garden and sandpit set in a gorgeous natural setting. The rhythm and routine of the sessions helps the kids become school-ready, and there's the option to extend the day to 5pm too with extended care. Highly recommend! Read more

My eldest had a wonderful time at Warrandyte kinder a few years ago and now my youngest son is also loving the 3... My eldest had a wonderful time at Warrandyte kinder a few years ago and now my youngest son is also loving the 3 year old program. The educators are wonderful, warm and very intuitive with their support of individual children and the group. My son loves the outdoor playground and I'm really happy that they get involved in the kitchen garden and bush play experiences. The extended care program is fabulous for us to give coverage when we're working. Another great part of the Warrandyte community! Read more
