Yama, I’m Carlyn and I am your Centre Manager at Eden Academy Dubbo. I come with over 20 years of experience in the early childhood education and care sector and over these years I have been privileged to be part of and support children and families.

I have lived experiences of supporting children who are faced with medical challenges which has shaped the way that I support my teams, children, and families.

I have recently relocated back to Dubbo after spending some time in Queensland on the Sunshine Coast. I am dedicated to nurturing every child’s unique potential by providing environments that foster everyone’s unique personality and areas of their developmental journey.

I am driven by a passion for inclusive education and the belief that every child deserves a strong foundation of early learning. I nurture my team’s unique strengths and embrace their personal experiences and thrive to inspire every team member to provide a nurturing quality early education and care experience.

Rigorous Recruitment & Screening - All Eden team members undergo thorough checks — including Working With Children, ID, work history, references, right to work, background, and child protection training — to ensure the highest safety standards.

Ongoing Staff Training - Our educators and leaders regularly complete professional development in child protection, identifying signs of harm, mandatory reporting, and creating safe spaces.

Clear Policies & Procedures - We have strong systems in place for reporting and responding to concerns, guided by our Child Protection Policy, Code of Conduct, and Risk Management and Incident Reporting processes.
