Meet our Sunshine Director
My philosophy as a Centre Director is shaped by a life journey rich in culture, care, and connection. As a Tibetan woman born and raised in India, a Bachelor of Arts graduate, a former aviation professional, an early childhood educator of nine years, and (most importantly) a mother of two, I bring a deep respect for diversity, resilience and the vital importance of the early years.

I believe education in the early years is a journey grounded in belonging, wellbeing, and meaningful relationships. Every child is a capable, confident learner who brings many “languages” – unique ways of thinking, expressing and understanding the world. By listening deeply to children’s voices and honouring their individuality, we support their sense of identity, agency and curiosity.

Inspired by Maria Montessori’s words, “The child is both a hope and a promise for mankind,” I am committed to nurturing learning environments where children feel safe, secure, and supported to explore and grow. My approach is guided by three core pillars: strong partnerships with families, nurturing the whole child, and mutual respect. I value families as children’s first teachers and believe learning thrives through collaboration, trust and shared understanding.

Through reflective practice, kindness and a strong understanding of child development, I strive to create an inclusive environment that supports each child’s learning, development and wellbeing, fostering a genuine love of learning and a strong foundation for lifelong growth.
