Novel Coronavirus – Exclusion Advice

With the rapid spread of the novel coronavirus, early learning services have been advised to inform families and staff members who have travelled to the Hubei Province of China in the past 14 days to isolate themselves in their home for 14 days after leaving Hubei Province.

In addition, children or staff members who have been in close contact with someone with a confirmed case of the virus must also isolate themselves for 14 days following their last contact with the infected person. 

Staff and children who fall into these categories are not to attend their early learning service and should not engage with other children.
