The learning is clearly visible and the classrooms are well resourced and clean. What struck me most was how content the children seemed. Even with many children present, it felt calm and unhurried. Something that genuinely surprised me. It was also evident that the Educators truly enjoy their work. I saw so many warm and authentic interactions during my visit. The large playground is fantastic, full of interesting things to explore. The amazing silver slide is definitely a highlight. I think this is an exceptional service which balances high quality education with genuine care. I highly recommend it.

It has been wonderful to watch her bond grow to the point where she now happily reaches for her teachers at drop-off instead of crying. I would also give due credit to the teachers Floria and Seema as I know still early days for our child at OAC, but I can be assured that he is in safe hands of of the amazing educators. They take the time to know every child, not just in their own room but across the whole campus, which creates a strong sense of belonging. From our very first visit, the centre felt warm, safe, and welcoming. Communication is always clear and thoughtful, and it is obvious how much care goes into the planning of programs and daily routines. The learning spaces and rooms are always clean and well organised, and the menu is both nutritious and, as my son would say, delicious. My son is always happy to attend and has shown beautiful growth in both confidence and independence since starting. I am so grateful to have found such a nurturing and professional centre and highly recommend OAC Redfern to any family seeking a supportive and loving environment. The management team and educators are honestly the best! They truly feel like a second family.

We have been at this daycare for over two years now (and have been during transition from Kindy Cottage to OAC) and honestly... We have been at this daycare for over two years now (and have been during transition from Kindy Cottage to OAC) and honestly couldn’t be happier. From day one, we felt how personal and warm the environment is — not just for us as parents, but especially for our child. The kids truly come first here, and you can feel that in everything they do. The educators create such a calm, nurturing space where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for. Everyone is known by name, which makes such a difference and really shows how much attention and love is given to each child. We’ve tried and compared other centres in the area, and nothing came close to this beautifully run, smaller environment. It’s clear how much heart goes into the centre, obviously due to the incredible staff. They are kind, patient, and dedicated. In the last year especially, we’ve seen just how much our child has learned. The education and support provided have been amazing — our child has grown in confidence, knowledge, and independence, and we truly feel they are being set up so well. Despite all the disruptions and challenges early education has faced in the last few years, it feels we barely noticed them due to the sound administration at this centre. Brooke was the constant there, and having her there meant we knew we had nothing to worry about. Working in partnership with the educators means we are well-equipped for the next phase.
