They have been so welcoming as my daughter when my daughter started daycare this year and supported me greatly on her first day (when I was a mess). Not only did do the staff give regular updates on the children in their care, they really get to know the children on a deeper level. I have been so impressed with the staff and facilities at Mayfield and would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a great local childcare facility.

Individuals like Tayla, Dhivya, Kanya, and Dana, along with many others, consistently go above and beyond. Their genuine care for the children is evident in every interaction. They are not only highly professional but also incredibly responsive and warm, creating a truly comforting and engaging environment for the little ones. Under the superb leadership of Kylie, the manager, Mayfield operates with remarkable efficiency and a clear focus on child-centered care. She fosters a positive and supportive atmosphere that clearly permeates through the entire staff. We are particularly appreciative of the excellent attention our son receives. He is always attended to very well, and the commitment to hygiene is truly excellent, providing us with immense peace of mind. Knowing he is in such capable and caring hands makes all the difference. We walk in the front doors of Macedon ELC and it’s feels like an extension of home. The educators have been incredible from day one. My daughter started at 7 months old, and from the nursery room all the way to the kinder room, every educator made an effort to get to know us as a family. My daughter is happy to come to ‘school’ everyday and comes home with the best stories about her day and lots of evidence of experiences. I couldn’t ask for a better centre to send my daughter to as I know she is safe, happy and loved.

Both of my children have attended — my son from age 2 and now in primary school, and my daughter since she was 1 and now in kindy. The care, love, and support from the educators is outstanding. Many staff have been there for years, which made it feel like an extended family — especially comforting when I had to return to work earlier than planned. My daughter always comes home happy, surrounded by the same close friend group for the past two years. The centre offers thoughtful, creative activities that help with learning and independence, and I love the regular photo and report updates. It’ll be bittersweet when both kids move on to school next year — we’re so grateful for everything this centre has given us!

This year, she moved up to Kindy room and her teacher Miss Kerry is very nurturing, supportive and caring as my daughter sometimes need a little bit of encouragement and help. The centre is full of natural environments which encourages my daughter to explore her imagination and creativity.

My 2-year-old son has settled in beautifully – he feels so comfortable and at home, which speaks volumes about the warm and caring environment the staff have created. The educators welcome the kids each day with a big smile, making drop-offs so much easier and more comforting. They’re incredibly friendly and approachable, and communication is always smooth and reassuring. The learning program is engaging and age-appropriate, and I’ve already noticed so much growth in my son.
