5 stars, only because I can't give 10!! Extremely happy with Guardian Bentleigh, as a Childcare Centre providing a long daycare service, as well... 5 stars, only because I can't give 10!! Extremely happy with Guardian Bentleigh, as a Childcare Centre providing a long daycare service, as well as with their Kindergarten Program. Management has gone from strength to strength and I can't speak highly enough about the current team. The facilities provided are second to none, the standard of care provided to my children has been faultless, communication is great and every staff member remains professional and a pleasure to deal with. My eldest daughter was at this Centre for 5 years and after completing two years of Kinder, has recently transitioned to school. Her time at Guardian allowed her to develop all the necessary skills, qualities and confidence to take with her into starting Prep. I commend their School-Readiness program followed, which focused on every aspect of her development, that she is now able to excel. I couldn't be more grateful to the Kinder team for everything they have taught her and allowed her to flourish. My youngest daughter started at this Centre in the Nursery and is currently in 3yo Kinder. With the Programs, support and quality of teaching on offer I can see she is currently thriving and will be equipped to take on any future challenges which come her way.

My daughter was happy from day one and has never had any issues settling in. All the educators are caring, loving, and attentive, and the whole team is friendly and supportive. The flexibility with casual days each month really helped me when I returned to work after maternity leave. A special thank you to the centre manager, Zoha, for being so supportive, especially with my baby’s dietary requirements. Highly recommend to any parents looking for a nurturing and reliable childcare!

The management team and every single staff member are incredibly friendly, accommodating, and genuinely care about the children. They have been so supportive of our boy, helping him settle in and thrive over the past year. If you are looking for a centre that feels like a community and puts your child’s well-being first, this is definitely the place!

Communication from the centre leadership team is consistently excellent, with timely updates and a very open and transparent approach. The centre manager is engaged, confident and professional, providing a reassuring presence. This is complemented by a fantastic and consistent 2IC who has been there from the very beginning and provides a steady, trusted hand. The current stability in leadership really shows. The new chef has been a welcome addition… so far the meals are excellent and allergies are thoughtfully considered. The centre is also very well resourced with high quality materials. Overall, this is a warm, welcoming and well-run centre.

My sweet girl has been attending this wonderful centre for awhile now, and I couldn't speak highly enough of it. My daughter comes... My sweet girl has been attending this wonderful centre for awhile now, and I couldn't speak highly enough of it. My daughter comes home happy, taken care of and we watch her intelligence and learning grow daily, especially with careful fostering from the caring staff. She is a mama's girl and drop-off time can be difficult, but she has grown to feel so safe at this centre that I can hand her to a member of staff and feel comfortable that they are confident and will help her with her feelings. We had previously withdrawn from a different facility due to lack of communication and what i felt was concern for my daughter - so I was cautious coming in. Since being here, Kylie put my worries to rest almost immediately. The communication has been open, available and I feel comfortable with her attendance here. The staff are not only always polite, but every educator gets to know the children and helps them feel comfortable. I watch my daughter cheerfully and excitedly greet them every day and I am so grateful to the wonderful team here at Guardian Underwood!

I checked out several in the area as I'm such a nervous parent, always on edge about leaving my kids with people I don't know - regardless of their qualifications. But here, honestly, I feel like I'm leaving my boy with close family friends. It has all the amazing benefits of a mainstream chain centre but with a loving, welcoming family feel. They all know my son by name (even the carers not in his room), they are all so thoughtful and aware of his needs and every one of the carers are kind, warm and gentle. They know he loves music but doesn't like certain songs; that he loves cars, but not craft. And they seem to have this level of detailed knowledge of all the children in their care. If I have a concern or need advice, I can raise it without retribution and I feel like the management have mastered this incredible balance of prioritising the children's needs while also respecting their employees. They are often the first people I call if I need advice with anything to do with behaviour/diet/sleep management, and they graciously offer sound advice. Super clean, super engaging and super caring - I couldn't ask for more in a childcare centre. Can not recommend highly enough.
