After a challenging search for a childcare that truly understood our daughter's special needs, we found our answer here. From my first conversation with Taylah, I knew this was the inclusive and supportive environment we needed as a family. We honestly never thought our daughter would be ready for school in 2025. Yet, after starting here in mid 2024, she had absolutely flourished. The transformation in just six months, particularly with Aman and the entire team's incredible support, has been amazing. Both our children showed significant positive changes within their very first week! What truly sets this center apart is their commitment to working with families around what your child needs. Any time an issue or changes arose, they consistently made time to sit down with us and develop a clear plan moving forward. Now, our youngest is also thriving in her final year of kinder, growing in confidence and finding her own unique voice, all thanks to the wonderful care from Kiran and Leeza. This center has been nothing short of a blessing for our family, providing an incredibly supportive and inclusive environment where both our children have been empowered to learn and grow beyond our expectations. A huge thank you to the entire team — it truly does take a village!

They are kind and compassionate with the children and my son has so far absolutely thrived. He is learning so much from the staff, his vocabulary has excelled, he recognises emotions, letters of the alphabet and his numbers. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking into care for their little ones, my son absolutely loves it there and has great rapport with his educators. At first, our daughter Gracie was very shy and quite emotional as that’s just her gentle personality, but Kiran and the other amazing educators have worked with her so patiently and gently — always with a warm smile. They’ve helped her settle in beautifully, and we’ve seen her confidence grow. From the moment we came for a tour, Taylah (the Centre Manager) and Kiran were both so welcoming and thorough, answering all of our questions in detail. The centre is clean, nurturing, and has a structured yet playful environment that was exactly what we were looking for. Children First ticks all the boxes! In my HR role across private schools( not affiliated with this centre), I’ve seen many learning environments and I confidently can say that the level of care and customer service at this centre truly stands out. They genuinely care about each child and go above and beyond to make families feel supported. One of the things we love most is the daily communication. We receive updates with photos of the children, a timetable of their activities, and even details about what they’ve eaten and how much. This level of transparency is so reassuring, especially for new parents who are still getting used to the idea of being away from their little one during the day. They are always just a phone call away ☺️ Gracie has made friends, feels safe, and comes home happy and full of stories. The ECT and educators encourage both learning and creativity, and the structure of the day has really helped her thrive. We’re honestly at peace knowing our little girl is cared for, supported, and loved. We couldn’t recommend Children First Mernda enough! 💛

Both of my children commenced at Children First Mernda in Feb 2024 and whilst we had concerns about the transition from another day care, they have fitted in seamlessly to the loving, supportive and encouraging environment that Children First foster. As parents, it makes myself and my partner so happy to know that they are a place where they are encouraged to be themselves, entertained by stimulating, educational activities and nurtured by such wonderful, compassionate educators. In particular, I would like to thank Taylah and Pene who run the centre from the heart and fill the place with such joy and happiness, which filters down to the children. A special mention also to Trish, Reem, Ashy, Bavhna and Nav who continuously fill our babies with their love and warmth and who are always willing to share about the amazing days they have had. Children First is more than a daycare centre- it is a community of friendly educators driven by their collective passion for empowering children, kind, loving parents and children who are clearly well looked after, happy and supported as an extension from what we as parents provide at home. We are so grateful every day for this daycare centre and how much we have seen our children grow and flourish thanks to the wonderful support of the educators, programs and extra curricular activities that take place. Highly recommend this daycare if you are looking for somewhere where you would like your children to be loved, inspired, empowered and to continue grow into amazing little humans.
