From the very beginning, the team has been warm, welcoming, and genuinely dedicated to every child’s wellbeing and development. Pene, the director, is fantastic — approachable, professional, and always willing to listen and support families. She leads the centre with such positivity and care, creating a truly nurturing environment for both children and parents. The communication with parents is excellent, and we always feel included and informed about our child’s day and progress. The environment is clean, engaging, and filled with opportunities for learning, creativity, and play. We couldn’t ask for a better place for our child. Thank you to the entire Children First Mernda team for everything you do — you truly make a difference every day!

My son has been at Children First Early Learning for just over a month, and we’ve had such a positive experience. The educators... My son has been at Children First Early Learning for just over a month, and we’ve had such a positive experience. The educators are warm, welcoming, and always take the time to approach you at drop-off and pick-up, making those busy moments feel seamless. My son is quite shy, but he has taken to his educators so well, which has been wonderful to see. All the staff are friendly and greet you as you walk through the centre, creating such a lovely atmosphere. The apps are easy to use, and overall we’re very happy with our decision to move centres!

The educators are so caring, loving, and truly go above and beyond with the children. They’re always engaging and interactive with him, and I really appreciate the daily reports and photos that keep me updated on how his day has been. The staff are also super lovely and friendly to deal with, always happy to answer any questions I have. I’m so grateful we made the switch — it’s been the best decision for our family! 🩵

I can’t express how grateful I am for the incredible experience my little ones have had at Children First, Mernda. After a disappointing experience with another daycare, where management issues led to an unfortunate end, I was nervous about finding the right place for my children. However, my visit to Children First was a breath of fresh air. From the moment we walked through the doors, I felt a warm welcome, especially from Penny, the Assistant Director, during our tour. This was my third tour, and I immediately felt the most comfortable here. The nurturing and vibrant environment made me feel confident that my children would thrive. On the first day, the early educators were nothing short of pleasant, wholehearted, and wholesome, which eased my nerves about leaving my babies there for the first time. Three months later, my children have settled in beautifully. Taylah, Penny, and Justine are just fantastic—always engaging with me and creating a positive atmosphere. As well as the early educators who we adore and appreciate so much. 🧡 I’m genuinely content with this change of daycare and wholeheartedly recommend Children First, Mernda to any parent looking for a fantastic place for their little ones to learn, play, and grow! Most importantly they provide a personal touch to all. I’ve noticed so many things with high observation. I cannot express how great this facility is 💯

My daughter Mya started her childcare experience here and has had a wonderful experience! She especially loves her educators Salma, Reshma and Annie... Unfortunately we moved and due to location no longer attend, but would definitely go back if we moved back closer!
