I had the privilege of completing my placement at Nido Early Learning Centre in Franklin, and it was a wonderful experience overall. From my day of initiation, I was warmly welcomed by the team and made to feel like a valued part of the centre. The educators and staff are not only highly skilled and professional, but also kind, supportive, and deeply passionate about early childhood education. They took the time to mentor me, answer my questions, and include me in meaningful learning experiences with the children. Special thanks to Babal, Sweety, Stephanie and I truly appreciated how collaborative and respectful the work environment was. Everyone in the centre is working together with the shared goal of providing the best care and learning for the children. I was also impressed by the centre’s thoughtfully designed spaces, the strong focus on child-led learning, and the way every child’s individual needs, interests, and cultural backgrounds are acknowledged and celebrated. It was an absolute pleasure to learn and grow in such a positive environment. Highly recommend Nido to both families and students seeking a high-quality, nurturing early learning setting!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience at Nido Early School Black Forest. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a genuine sense of warmth, care, and professionalism. The educators are not only highly skilled but also incredibly nurturing and attentive to each child’s individual needs. It’s clear they are passionate about early childhood development and go above and beyond to create a safe, stimulating, and loving environment. The learning spaces are beautifully designed—clean, modern, and filled with natural light. Every morning drop-off is a joy, and I often find it hard to leave because it’s so wonderful chatting with the educators, being around the happy children and simply being in such a welcoming, positive space. It truly feels like a second home. One of the things we love most is the strong sense of community. We feel genuinely connected and supported—not just as parents, but as part of something bigger. Our daughter comes home every day with beautifully styled hair and happy and excited (not to mention tired from all the playing). We feel so reassured knowing they are thriving in such a nurturing environment. We feel incredibly lucky to be part of the Nido Black Forest family. It’s more than just a childcare centre—it’s a place where children and families are truly valued. Highly recommend to any family looking for a warm, inspiring start to their child’s learning journey!

Warm enviroment as you walk in, staff are welcoming & engage very well with the children. Great learning philosophy as seen through weekly blogs on app, great communication through the app with educators. Very clean and tidy and lots to do and learn. Chef makes delicious healthy nutritious meals. Highly recommend Nido ormond. Shout out to all teachers and educators for doing an amazing job! ✨️

I have been so happy with the staff, programs and facilities that nurture, support & encourage curiosity, learning and the building of friendships. My son feels safe, secure & happy at Nido Ormond & loves his school; talking about his day with such joy at pick up. The rooms are bright, clean & inviting and the meals are nutritious & filling. The outdoor spaces have all that’s needed to entice creativity, team work, considered risk taking as well as simple fun & exercise. The ultimate standout for me is the gorgeous community feel, which is evident due to the supportive and genuine welcoming space that is provided for all children and their families. Staff know everyone & families know each other too. I could go on and on, but put simply, I am so grateful to have toured and subsequently enrolled my son at Nido. We love & appreciate all that makes Nido Ormond great.

This clearly demonstrates a supportive environment for students aspiring to become great educators.

Our baby started at 12 months and was incredibly well supported in what was a difficult transition. The centre is impeccable, the rooms aren’t overly full, the staff are friendly and dedicated with low turnover and are constantly striving to make the experience even better. We are kept really well updated throughout the day and feel like the staff treat our baby with love and genuine individual care. Highly recommend!

We visited so many other Childcares in Canberra but we decided to go with Nido because of its setting, the friendly staff and its lovely environment. Our daughter enjoys everyday of school and we are so thankful to Nido for taking care of her like they have over the past years. Many thanks to Sweety and other teachers for making it a special place. I will be enrolling my son here as well. Thank you Nido family.

They’ve created such a nurturing, fun, and safe environment that truly feels like a second home. Every day, our daughter comes home smiling, full of stories, and showing us all the new things she’s learned. It’s clear that the team puts so much thought into every activity, and their connection with the children is something really special. Isobel gentle nature, Louise’s bubbly energy, and Emilia’s creativity all shine through in the way they interact with the kids. We’ve noticed so much growth in our daughter’s confidence, social skills, and independence since she started. As a parent, there’s nothing more reassuring than knowing your child is genuinely loved and looked after — and Nido Kingsley has given us exactly that peace of mind.
