Both of our boys are thriving – it’s such a nurturing and supportive environment. We love the focus on nature play, the delicious meals prepared daily by the centre chef, and the quality daily stories and photos we receive on Storypark. What really stands out for us is that every single educator in the centre and every member of the management team knows our boys by name and takes the time to connect with them. The management team puts so much effort into continually improving the centre and providing new resources for the kids, and the care they provide is worlds apart from our previous daycare experience. We feel so confident knowing our children are in such good hands, and we’d absolutely recommend Avenues KP to any family looking for a centre that goes above and beyond 😊

We recently moved to Brisbane, and it was a big transition for our 2-year-old to start at a new daycare after being at the same one since he was 6 months old. But Avenues Camp Hill has been absolutely amazing — he’s been there for the past 6 months and is thriving! He’s made so many friends, and even the teachers have become people he talks about at home like friends. He often shares what he’s learned and experienced during the day, and if someone does something wrong, he’ll say, “Mr. Keiran taught us not to do that!” — it’s so sweet and shows how much he’s absorbing. As a multicultural South African-French family, I really appreciate the diversity at the centre. There are French-speaking teachers and even male educators, which has been such a positive influence for our son. He loves the outdoor play, water activities, and tree planting — and touch wood, we haven’t had a single sick day since he started! That’s a huge change from his previous daycare, where he was constantly unwell from being stuck indoors. The teachers are so engaged — they play with the kids, challenge them, and really stimulate their minds. As a parent, it’s wonderful to see real growth and learning happening. He even tells me what he ate each day and loves the food, which is such a relief for a busy parent — I don’t feel guilty if dinner is just toasties, knowing he had a solid meal during the day. The administration is also fantastic. Communication is consistent, and there are always fun parent activities and events — but without pressure or guilt if you can’t attend. It’s structured yet relaxed, which I really appreciate. I honestly can’t praise this centre enough. My son has made beautiful friendships, and I’ve even connected with some lovely like-minded mums. They do little things like giving the kids a “role model” medal for the day, which boosts their confidence and encourages positive behaviour. It’s such a nurturing, empowering environment — we’re so grateful to be part of it.

You can really feel the team’s genuine dedication and love for what they do. The team takes the time to understand each child’s personality, routines and interests, which makes such a difference. The admin staff are always approachable and organised, and the Centre Manager is simply outstanding—so supportive, genuine and passionate about early childhood education. We honestly couldn’t ask for a better place for our child to learn and grow.

It’s great to see the children thriving in such a happy and supportive environment. Huge credit to the new leadership for making such a fantastic difference! The learning spaces are vibrant, engaging, and thoughtfully set up to support each child’s development. The children especially love spending time with the chickens — it’s such a unique and joyful part of their day! It’s clear the team genuinely cares, and it shows in how happy and settled the children and educators are.
