Wellbeing toolkit for Victorian Parents
While the rest of Australia watches, waits, and hopes, Victoria has entered a second phase of lockdown, which is stricter and being imposed with more force.

With most parents in lockdown at home and facing the dual pressure of working while homeschooling children, the pressure is great and can quickly become overwhelming. To support you during these undeniably challenging times we have put together a Wellbeing Toolkit, which offers a range of information and resources to help you manage. Take care and be kind to yourself.
The top 10 illnesses that keep kids home from child care
Winter isn't all sunshine and rainbows. The days are cold, the nights are long and to make things that bit more challenging, there are lots of lurgies (undetermined illnesses) doing the rounds.

It's common for viruses, infections and bugs to jump from child to child during the winter months, and according to data collected from the KindyNow platform, 10 ailments are responsible for the majority of child care absences.

Here we list the culprits and give you some tips to help prevent the spread of illness in the child care setting.
Art and craft hacks for uncrafty parents
Some parents can come up with creative projects at the drop of a paintbrush, but if you're not exactly oozing with inspiration, then don't worry!

Heather Flyght runs Li'l Crafters art and craft classes, and she knows how to ignite young children’s curiosity, develop their skills and have stacks of fun with simple materials and beautiful projects.

Ms Flyght has a Diploma in Fine Arts, years of experience working in child care and two daughters of her own, and this week she's kindly explaining ways for every baby, toddler, preschooler and parent to find the creativity within.
