April 18, 2018
Welcome, this week learn about what you'll need to do to get ready for the new Child Care Subsidy, 12 easy ways to reduce your family's reliance on plastic, in support of Earth Day 2018, plus save time and track progress of the services you like most with our new favourites feature.
What you need to do to get ready for the new Child Care Subsidy
The single Child Care Subsidy takes effect on 2 July, completely replacing the existing Child Care Benefit and Child Care Rebate.

To ensure parents and carers continue to receive financial support for the cost of early childhood education and care services under the new system they must apply online.

It is important to note that families using child care services will NOT automatically be transitioned to the new system, and all families wishing to access the Child Care Subsidy need to log in and complete an online Child Care Subsidy assessment through their account.
Favourites Feature
Save time and track progress by marking your favourite child care services with a 💜.

If too many amazing child care services to keep track of is a problem for you, then you are going to love our new 'Favourites Feature'.

Simply mark your preferred early childhood services with a big purple heart and they will be saved in a centralised spot for easy reference down the track.

Maintaining a Favourites File makes it much easier to monitor your progress, keep track of services you have contacted and waitlisted with, as well as those you hope to tour.

With so many high quality early childhood providers to choose from our new Favourites feature saves you time and effort by ensuring you can keep tabs on the services you love and that are the right fit for your family.
