Welcome to our first issue for 2018. This week a reminder on new NQS rules now in effect, five easy ways to motivate your staff and ACECQA's report on the NQF.
Important information for
Vacancy Alert Enterprise Subscribers
We are excited to announce that we launched a significant enhancement to our Vacancy Alert service, this week; designed to boost occupancy rates and deliver real benefits to child care provider's bottom line. The change will ensure providers maximise the possibility of converting vacancies to placements!

In response to provider requests to improve the accuracy of our vacancy referrals, we have spent the last few months improving our system to ensure services only receive Vacancy Alerts from parents who are close by.

What this equates to is quality not quantity – services will receive a smaller number of high quality referrals from local parents looking for care. In our experience, high quality referrals are more likely to convert to placements and in areas struggling with oversupply our powerful Vacancy Alerts offer a real competitive edge.

We have rolled out Victoria already, and will be rolling out all other states by the end of the week so please stay tuned!

The commitment to constant improvement means we are always working to deliver better results to early childhood providers.

If you have any questions or comments please do not hesitate to contact us here at we are here to help!
The future is now:
Welcome to the revised NQS
The revised National Quality Standard (NQS) is now in effect and comes with fewer elements and standards and, according to ACECQA, clearer language.

The assessment and rating process for services has also been streamlined and services are now being assessed against the revised version of the NQS.
5 ideas to boost staff motivation
At we regularly interview early childhood education and care providers about their work, and overall the energy, passion and commitment displayed is extraordinary.

Educators go above and beyond their job descriptions to ensure children are nurtured and encouraged and given the support they need to grow and develop to the best of their ability.
It's report time for the NQF
ACECQA has released its first Annual Performance Report detailing progress of the National Quality Framework (NQF) across the early childhood education and care sector over the past five years.

ACECQA is required to supply an annual report to COAG on how well the NQF is meeting stated goals and objectives.
