Christmas crafts for seasonal cheer
Christmas is around the corner… can you believe it? This month we have a stack of Christmas themed craft ideas to help fill the quiet moments in the crazy last few weeks before the end of the year.

Santa Collage Use all the leftover bits of paper, bling bits and materials to create a gang of wonderful textured Santas.

Stockings It's not Christmas until you have made a bright red stocking to hang up. This activity is quicker when you use glue, but the stockings last longer if you use basic stitching to hold the decorations in place.

Christmas tree advent calendar This is a super cute activity, which is suitable for very young children and improves as the month of December passes by.

Christmas tree photo frame Looking for a homemade end of year gift to give to the families in your service? Then look no further this great activity uses old corks and icy pole sticks to great effect, and everyone loves a picture of their child at the end of the year.

Glitter cards Very messy and very fun; use a simple Christmas tree outline as the template for this card.

Little tree decorations Another tree-themed project, this activity can be as simple or as complicated as the children choose it to be. You'll need small beads so make sure you keep this activity away from very young children.

Sequin wreath This is a pretty little project and the end result makes a perfect Christmas tree decoration.

Tissue paper wreath Everyone loves crunching up tissue paper, this activity uses a pile of scrunched up paper to create a lovely plump Christmas wreath.

Chains and baubles If you are looking for some ideas to decorate your service for the Christmas concert, then why not make a bunch of paper chains and baubles to hang everywhere.

Paper plate angel This activity uses cheap supplies and is quick and easy to complete making it perfect for younger children.
