CareforKids.com.au is committed to helping parents find high quality child care in their area and to making it easier for child care providers to promote their services and vacancy information.

As part of this commitment we are excited to be developing and testing a new online rating system which will allow parents to rate their child care service.

This rating system will be the first of its kind in Australia and we are keen to work with child care providers to make sure the system is as helpful and informative as possible.

The system will enable parents to rate their service provider on a variety of criteria such as:

learning and development programs
environment and facilities
food preparation and nutrition
management staff & supervision
health and safety
affordability
communication with parents
warmth & empathy towards children

As you know CareforKids.com.au is interested in supporting the child care industry and child care professionals and we are developing the rating system as a way for parents to provide informed comment which will hopefully assist other parents make their child care decision.

To this end, parents wanting to use the rating system must have had a child attending the service they intend to rate in the last 12 months and must be a parent or legal guardian of the child in the service.

Once a rating has been submitted the comments are emailed to us to be approved. Child care providers who have supplied us with an email address will also receive a copy of the rating before it is published on CareforKids.com.au.
