During this time I worked for many families who used to have their children placed in my Family Day Care business. When I closed the day care the families continued to have me look after their children in their own homes. I was working with children ranging in age from newborn to 3 years old where activities and duties included those listed above.

During her time with our agency Jean has worked for various families with children ranging in age from newborn to teenage years where activities and duties have included organising a scheduled routine of stimulating play and educational activities, arranging daily outings and playdates, arts and crafts, music and dance, baking with the children, swimming, walks to the park, preparing nutritional snacks and meals, settling, feeding, changing nappies, stories and reading, school drop-off and pick-up, attending after school activities, assisting with homework, preparing the evening meal, bathing and supervising bath-time, preparing the children for bed and all associated house and child related duties.
The feedback that we have obtained throughout placements with families registered with our agency has been excellent. She comes highly recommended.

The day care facility was funded by the families that I worked for in my local community. Each of the families wanted me to continue working with them so they started up a Family Day Care that I could manage and therefore care for each of their children at the one time.

Jean is a warm and friendly lady with many years of experience working in Centre Based Care and Solecharge Nannying work. When she first started her career as a nanny, Jean worked for a number of families within her local community through referrals and eventually became too busy to care for each of the families at the one time! To keep Jean on, the families decided to help with funding for the set up of a Family Day Care facility so that Jean was able to care for all children when required. They loved her!
