Cover Letter

I believe I am the perfect candidate for this position because of my love for children, I’ve grown up helping raise my younger sister and have always loved the responsibilities that come with it.

I am a very outgoing and positive individual, I am also compassionate and have strong initiative so I have no problem taking on any house chores that you need done. I am very caring and have a passion for young learners and love influencing positive behaviour and the children’s interests.

The safety and well-being of the children is most important to me, I always carefully monitored my sister when taking her on outings such as the park, the beach, and so on. I’ve also had to prepare lunches for school, breakfast and dinner, I understand good nutritional choices for meals.

I also worked temporarily at a childcare centre whilst part completing my Certificate lll in Children's Services which helped give me a better understanding of how to suit the needs of children with all different types of personalities. Working at a childcare centre also helped me be able to create a routine for the children and create activities that advance the children’s education.
