Working with Children Check
'About Me...'
I have had years of experience entertaining and supervising children of all ages. I enjoy researching activities that are fun and educational – like sorting the washing into colours, silly dancing, craft, art, involvement in nature and introducing new things the children are specifically interested in /would enjoy learning about.
I have a basic understanding of the different stages of child development, have worked with children who have disabilities and am currently studying for my diploma in youth services!
I have been a nanny for 5 years with a new born and a 9 month old (up until they reached school) and have worked in crèches, hospitals, respite homes and in families own homes.
I make it my duty to refer back to the recourses that enlighten me on new techniques to keep children feeling confident and interested.
I have my CPR, first aid and children first aid, working with Vulnerable peoples police check and Medication management.
I have a great interest in Healthy eating and life styles so I am continuously researching fun ways to embrace these ideas into everyday living. I love cooking and cleaning, exploring, music, nature, swiming, art and feeling helpful! I have my full drivers licence and a car, my own paint and craft supplies and so many ideas to get kids thinking and creating.
Please let me know what it is you're children most enjoy so I can come prepared!!!
=)
