About Me...
I have a Bachelor of Science (Environmental Science) and a Graduate Diploma of Education (Primary) and I'm currently enrolled in the LEAP Program (Teaching Science 7-10). Before commencing my teaching studies, I planned and facilitated environmental education programs for community groups and schools. I am passionate about engaging students in science and have geared my career in this direction. In 2017 I worked as a science teacher at Bridgetown High school, and I planned and taught science to years 7 and 9. I have worked as a relief teacher in primary and secondary schools and during my studies, I completed three months professional practice in school, including Year 4 to Year 7. My work experience has given me strong knowledge of the Australian Curriculum content and how to cater for students with different needs.
